UpdatedI seem to be doing fine with the xarelto, but my arthritis is killing me without my prescription pain reliever, Arthrotec. Does anyone take arthrotec with Xarelto? If not, what pain killer can I take? I tried an opiod and it made me foggy and unsteady on my feet. I am sensitive to meds and arthrotec really helped me, which is why I miss it so much.

Hello, Judy! How are you doing? I'm very sorry that you're in pain.
You can't take NSAIDs, such as Arthrotec with Xarelto, since they cause blood thinning. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness and headache.
Which opiate did you try? Those can be normal side effects of them. They FDA lists them as being narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
You may just need to try a different one, or a lower dose of the one that was prescribed.
