Is It Safe To Use Ace Proxyvon

Is it safe to take ACE-PROXYVON to get relief from
Arthritis-pain for a patient(65 yrs.) undergone angioplasty 4 months back and taking the 5 medicines
(1)Pinom 20,(2)Prasudoc 10,(3)Ecosprin 75,
(4)Novastat 10,and(5)Starpress XL 25 without any
adverse effect?......I have placed this querry on 22-12-2011....but I coud not view the reply to this querry.Kindly help me out....send a copy of reply to my mail id

You should check with your doctor, before taking it.

It contains the active ingredients Diclofenac and Paracetamol, the Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, which may not be safe for you to use due to 2 reasons.

The first is because you are on medications for you heart condition and blood pressure. NSAIDs can cause fluid retention, which could put you in danger of congestive heart failure.

The second is that you are already taking an NSAID, which is the Aspirin in the Ecosprin, so that would be doubling up on one type of medication, which could also cause problems.

Thanks for the reply for"is it safe to take Ace Proxyvon.."
I am to inform that Aceclofenac(not Diclofenac) is one of
the active ingradients of it which differs slightly in struct-
ural make up and have almost the same properties but
nearly four more effective as a pain reliever than Diclo-
fenac.My querry is: Can Ace Proxyvon be given to the
patient for 2 days to get temporary relief while underta-
kingTrain journey for 20 hours? I am trying to get your advice since our doctor has gone abroad..

Thank you for the correction, since it is a foreign medication, our sources sometimes are not correct in what they list as the active ingredients.

However, it still a NSAID, so my prior information still stands on taking it with the Aspirin.

And I cannot advise you on whether or not it safe to give to the patient, only a doctor can help you with that.

I have been using aceproxyvon for three days to get relic from pain and swelling which is a gout related problem in my left ankle as soon as I stop the the tablets then the pain comes back are there any other NSAIDs that you can recommend for longer use!
