Is Soma A Narcotic And Does It Show Up In A 12 Panel Urine Drug Screen Test (Page 11)

I GET DRUG TESTED EVERY 2 WEEKS AND I HURT MY BACK AND MY AUNT GAVE ME A SOMA AND I HAVE A 12 PANEL DRUG SCREEN URINE TEST AND I WANNA MAKE SURE I'M NOT GONNA FAIL MY DRUG TEST.

BLESSED: I would disagree. Maybe you should say that methadone is a much better route FOR YOU. I do better on methadone than on subutex, and have been able to taper off of methadone much more successfully than when I was on subutex.

I get a random drug test Amd I took asoma. They send it to a hospital. I take Percocet and xanaxs will the soma show up?

It depends on the test! There are urine tests for EVERYTHING. Even alcohol can be detected in urine. However, these tests are specialized and expensive so if it's for probation or a job it's not going to be testing for Soma. I'm being monitored by the board of Nursing and their tests are serious business, they have 3 types & the most expensive one tests for damn near everything.

If it's a test that can be read immediately it will NEVER test for Sona. Also, as far as false positives go, Soma & Morphine have nothing in common so if someone tests positive for Morphine it's likely they also too some type of opiate.

Some does show up not as a soma but as a benzo once it's metabolized in your system. I took a drug test for probation on 2/16 & I had only taken hydrocodone & somas 2 days prior. I don't take xanax or Valium so the soma is what caused the benzo screen. The good thing is it's not long lasting in your system. 3 days and your system should have it completely flushed out.

I was pulled over in Texas & charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug for having 6 Somas. So although they are not considered a narcotic, they're still a drug that you must have a prescription for.

Somas are awful & VERY addictive. I've struggled with opiates & amphetamines but nothing brought me down like Somas. Eventually you build a tolerance & you take more & more to get the high. Your body just gets more & more impaired. I've been unable to walk or even talk on Somas. Ugh!!! The memories...

THEY HAVE TO SPECIFICALLY TEST FOR THE METABOLITE CARISPRODILE TURNS INTO CETAMATE..... SPECIFICALLY
If it's a hair test maybe no time try will show it up even though they get you a drunk feeling THEY ARE NONE NARCOTIC

Tramadol is what they call a narcotic analgesic so it actually is a "form" of narcotic. Sorry to hear it doesn't sound like your other treating Dr was listening to you..but def should have known better. Hope all works out now.

It will not come up as morphine. It’s not even a narcotic. I am on Suboxone and soma they send my drug test to a lab every week soma Never ever comes up Niether does Ambien..

I had a cortisone shot to both of my heels. I then took a drug test. Dr. told me I tested positive to SOMA. This was a voluntary test, but I did not take SOMA or anything else that was not prescribed. Why would it show up like this.

I used to take a large amount of somas , and only once at probation 12 panel screen I did test positive for morphine. But I had them send it to lab and it came back all good. Somas were the only drug I took so I knew it was a false positive. But that only happened one time out of two years.

You can always go inpatient at a hospital or mental health facility. They will keep you 5/7/10 days. Tell them the truth n that you don’t feel safe doing it alone. You could find a subutex dr and do it on your own. But don’t take subs more than a 3/4 weeks or you’ll get addicted to that. If really in a jam take cold n flu medicine or benaydrl n get something to help you sleep at night. Good luck.

I’m getting ECT done and I know they will drug test me I have script for Soma but am afraid that the Soma will show up n get me kicked out of program.

It relaxes you. Be careful not to take too many at once because you can go into what's called a soma coma. Doesn't last long but kinda scary. Hope that helped.

Suboxone is the BEST thing I could have done for myself. Not only that, it is BETTER for my PAIN. I've had 3 fusions, one of them was lumbar back surgery. My pain is certified chronic. And I PROMISE you if you really want to be free of those bulls***, pills, ask your PM to refer you to a doctor that prescribes this medication. Don't worry it's NOT weaker than the average pain med. Actually stronger. Hun, it truly is the BEST choice I could have ever made for myself.
