Is Lexamil Safe During Pregnancy

I am 3 months on Lexamil 20 mg but only take 10mg a day. Planning to fall pregnant. Do i need to stop it or just continue with it as normal? Will appreciate your reponse of this matter. Kind Regards Louise Arendt

i have been on lexamil for 2 months. I am trying to have a child, but do not know hw safe lexamil is. Is lexamil safe during pregnancy? And do you think trying to fall pregnant after a bad miscarriage

Lexamil contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, it is most commonly used as an antidepressant.

Escitalopram has been known to cause problems, such as spontaneous abortion/miscarriage and hard to the baby if it used during the last three months of pregnancy.
