In Need Of New Doctor "please"

I have been on 1mg of xanax 4 times daily and my doctor has retired,I have looked and looked but I REALLY need some help. I don't abuse or use for the wrong reasons. Just need help finding an understanding doctor. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

David , what problems are you encountering ? It is a good idea to get copies of your medical records from your dr that retired for a new dr. You need to find a psychiatrist. Any dr can prescribe xanax, but most drs are referring patients to psychiatrists when they have mental problems that require medications. A lot of drs have also stopped prescribing xanax because it is so widely abused.
