There are not Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone tablets on the market that contain 1,000mgs of anything.
They are available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone and 750mgs of the Acetaminophen.

That said, the narcotic, which is what they are testing for, is the same in both, however, if they are checking the levels of it, then that may be off and can alert them to a problem.
When you are prescribed a certain dosage, to be taken at a certain dosage frequency, then your levels should fall into a certain range. Anything outside of that range shows them that you may be taking too many, or aren't taking them.

Yep, it's all hydrocodone and the marker for what you are taking is hydrocodone. On the bottle that they drug test you on, it's only specific if it's morphine, demarol, etc. But all vicodin, lorcets and hydrocodones fall under the same marker; hydrocodone. Especially in your case, they are definitely both the same.
