I Have Hydrocodon Tabs That I'm Concerned Might Be Fake

Updated

I received an RX from my pharmacy for HYDROCODONE - ACETAMINOPHEN, 10/325, Generic for Norco. It says it's "Qualitest". The pill is oval, VERY light yellow, has the number 3601 with a 'break line' between the six and the zero. On the flip side is a "V".
Here's my problem. I had some pills left over from a prior script and the tablets looked the same with one exception -- the "V" on the new script is "right side up". In other words, you can roll the pill towards you and if you start out being able to read the numbers "right side up", as you roll the pill -- you will still be able to read the "V" right side up. Where as with the previous scrip, the pill would have to be rolled side-ways in order to read the numbers and the V "right side up."
I hope this makes sense to you.

The white hydro's (ie: norco's) have different insets. Not just the tylenol but other garbage in them and I have noticed significantly, how less effective they are , than the yellow colored norco's. I have a major nerological head trama and I need those 'yellow-Watson's' yet central Florida has been FDA'd up the ying-yang!! I am a genuine patient in need of this medicine just to get through my daily routines and not sit in my bed for more than a yr. , just because the FDA is punishing fakes and sellers. I swear, Watson's 10/325's are the only thing that touches my pain, to where I am able to function and help out my family. But yellow in color. Not generic whites. Does anyone know what county in Florida can provide this for me? What pharmacy??

Desperate, I am very sorry, but those tablets are no longer being manufactured. Watson has removed the dye from them and are now only manufacturing white ones.

To the original poster, it really just depends how the pills are pressed in the machine that forms them. There is no certain way that the imprints have to be done, just as long as they are on there, so some batches may differ.

Learn more Vicodin details here.

Anyone taking this medication should be aware that it does have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there anything else I can help with?

I had the same happen to me with the qualitest norco 10/325 yellow. The numbers were in a different order when you fipped them over. All had same V on one side, then, fip over, some read 36/01 then others 10/ the 93 was backwards. You had to flip it over to get the 36/01. Is that normal?

The way the pills info gets imprinted on pill is by a die, and watson and all big pharmaceutical companies has strick quality control, their dies are always set a certain way. I've seen these yellow narcos for years. Just Google pill die, there is one for every pill made, for about $150, anyone can make pills.
