I Have Bad Chest Infection Got Clavamel Forte 500mg 125mg On Tuesday Am Still Very Sick Should Not Be A Little Better

I started off with sinus infection and then my chest got sore I went to my doc and I was told I have bad chest infection. I am taken Clavamel Forte 500mg/125mg but I am still the same should I not be feeling a little better this is my third day of these tablets I am taken 3 a day. ?????

This contains the active ingredients Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid, so it is an antibiotic, but how long it takes until you start to feel improvement can depend on the severity of the infection.

Has it improved any? If it hasn't done so by now, then you should contact your doctor.

Hi there,

No I do not feel any better. Awful pain in my Right lung in under my right arm. Thinking better get back to Doc again!! Really thought by this evening I should be feeling better.

I may be too late but get back to your doc and tell him to check you for pneumothorax.Happened me last year.Collapsed right lung.got a very sore pain under my rib cage.got worse throughout the day untill i couldnt catch my breath.rang an ambulance and was rushed to the emegrgency room for immediate surgery
