Of course there is, there's a shelf life for everything.

If they are in the original factory sealed container, then they are good for 3 years, however, once that seal has been broken and the tablets have been exposed to the elements, degradation starts and the shelf life term goes down to one year.

it is not in the original bottle. not sure but think they r about 5 years old. Isn't the one year experation standard policy? Not necessarily true?
