How To Get Off Suboxone (Page 11)

Im Marina Im 24 years old and a mother of 2 beautiul little boys. From the years 2006-2007 i was heavily addicted to Oxy 80 and eventually started doing herion. I got help in sep.2007 at a methadone clinic, it worked for as long as i was on the methadone i had NO relapse's. In June 2009 i was completly off of the methadone that first day that i was on 0Mgs I went through extreme withdrawls i went through things that i would never wish upon my worst enemy! i stayed that way for a day and a half and decided to go to a suboxone doctor. He put me on 32 mgs a day which i thought was pretty high of a dose but he explained to me that methadone withdrawls was worst then any other withdrawls. so i trusted him. Now when i go to see him every month i pretty much beg for him to start the weining process and start lowering me and he pretty much refuses. After months of being on 32mgs a day he finally started tapering me down slowly, i never really thought any thing of it till now but i realized he's keeping me on the suboxne for as long as posible so that he can get my $200.00 a month. all he is, is a legal drug dealer bc now im highly addicted to the suboxone. I recently had to go a few days with out my suboxone bc i didnt have the money to see him and i went through hell. i thought methadone withdrawl was bad OMG there is no comparison. i wanted to either use which i havent done in years or rip my face off lol its funny now but it definatley wasnt funny a few days ago while i was feeling that way! So i spoke to a good friend whos going through the same thing and he told me that they just came out with a new pill to get you off suboxone. I just want to know if that's true. I tryed googleing it but i cant find any thing. If you have heard of this new pill please respond or if you even have a good way to get off soboxone as painless and posible... thanx

Get a total body cleanse from GNC along with SAM-E LTyrosine and vitamin b complex sub lingual droppers....take multivitamin multi mineral supplements also. You may get sick from the total bodycleanse but that means its working. Benzos r good to have around but they will slow down the cleansing process. Eat healthy and drink water and exercise as much as possible. Sauna hot tubs massages etc do it all! Pray read the Bible it keeps u spiritually strong.

A new pill to get off Suboxone, ha read the date of the post. Maybe in the future as hearing finally. Slowly taper, taper, taper... Subsukurpotential, 30 days off, and after trying EVERY single sleep pill made, only Ambian was giving me 2-3 hours at first, but headaches. Headaches were from the Ambien. Now take only Neurontin for nerve issues. But I've got good news, well, after testing my hands, then feet, Doc found moderate damage in both hands, both legs, and in my bad spot l-5 back long term damage... But I knew that. I've now found that taking no pills, no Clonidine, no sleeping pills, no Benzos which again I was told to take, helps my brain SLOWLY get better. Thank you and as I seem to think getting better, Z

Hi Subsucksrpotential2bgr8 and people i been on subox for seven years at one point i was doing 8 mg 3 times a day.i got myself down to 12mg a day i tryed too get off the subox using libriums,25 mg i felt great wasent taking any more subox for a week or so.It dident work libs were gone went right back too with draw.im trying too keep myself at 4mg subs a day really not feeling good at all.i'm gona try it your way.i ordered Kratom Z-Ultra Rare Genuine Thai Caps today I hope i got the right ones?.their was so many too choose from,i got them from this site: zerbals.†i'm so sick of being dependent on the subox crap feels like ive been on it forever.my order should be here in a few days,gona try too stay at 4 mg of the s***boxone till it comes in, i dont no?.would appreciate your feed back on the Kratom Z-Ultra.

My bf has been on subs for almost 3-4 years. He'sdown to taking only about 1/6 of a strip a day.I keep telling him he ddoesn't need them anymore. Today I found out his pieces are getting bigger again. Does this mean he slipped up and did something else. Or am I being too hard on him? He's just been doing so good. I hate to see him back tracking and never getting off of these stupid things:(

Hates subs, everybody is different, but when I was down to a steady small dose, I did not choose to take more, my mind kept saying I needed more to feel better, but I refused. My key was to stay on the small dose until stable and then go a few extra hours more between doses, staggering them. I FINALLY beat the Suboxone! It has been about two months of quitting them. As for the are you being too tough on your bf, I would not think so, but I won't judge. Sometimes you have to be stable and go slowly to get off them. If the bf was doing good on a steady small strip, he might be slipping... Subssuckurpotential, thank you soooo much for all the advise. I am doing A LOT better now. I can now join the few who beat not only Methadone, but Suboxone!! I do feel better and eat now for energy! Imagine that???

Thanks man..your post is making me realize I control my life. I've been on subs going on 10 years and am finally coming off them. Had a one month supply last me 4 months and im down to my last one and cant find anyone concerned enough to help. I know im not gonna die but I dont wanna treat the people I love badly bc of the shape im in, which is what happened the last time I had to get off these and that was after my first 2 years on them. Stayed clean and miserable for a whole year before I started using opiates again. Then back on subs. Endless cycle needs to stop. Thanks for the tip on the trams.

I had the runs for at least 6months after I stopped using subs after 2 years being on 16mg a day. WD symptons really never went away. I was miserable the whole time I was clean and was only ok when I was at work. Treated the people who loved me the most the worst, and complete strangers like royalty. Finally started using opiates again to be happy. After I got off the subs I had the runs every time I would eat, had incredible pain in my testicals and ruined my sex life. Been on subs again now and just about ready to call it quits after 8 years. Not looking forward to it considering I have a son now and he doesn't deserve to get the worst of me so I'm really trying.

I thank Z-Man for giving advice about not giving in to those thoughts that tell us that we need more after taking our first dose! He is right! We don't need more, we want more. There is an increasing emptiness inside of our souls as soon as we take that first dose. If we tell ourselves no, and instead read the Bible, pray, exercise, and do something to keep ourselves occupied, that empty feeling will go away. Maybe only temporarily, but that's why we gotta keep at it. It will hurt, but there is a saying that the person who is able to overcome self has more courage than the one who overcomes those around him because the greatest obstacle in life is the self. Make yourself a little sick by skipping hours and even days if possible. If you don't need it don't take it.

And for the guy who has the runs, go to Rite Aid and buy Loperamide. It is an opiate but doesn't get you high because it doesn't cross the blood brain barrier. It is great for IBS patients, but also for us because not only will it help your stomach but it will fill the opiod receptors in your body that are empty and yet you won't feel high...you may even feel better.

Also, please get a total body cleanse from GNC, they work! You may get sick but that means its working. Give yourself time off from work if possible. If you cannot take off of work, break up the body cleanse into 2 weeks instead of 1 only. Get a colon cleanse too. If you cannot eat, please get GNC's shakes or something similar and drink those everyday. They have banana and vanilla bean flavors (my favorite) and you can add in real bananas too to give yourself more potassium. They taste great.

I want to get off suboxone also but when I decrease It I suffer from severe depression. I was looking out my backyard window planning my death. I never thought like that till I started tapering off suboxone. I'm not a happy person anyway. If you met me you would NEVER believe that I was a recluse and depressed. I really want to stop taking suboxone also because it is constipating and I don't eat much and like you I hate to go to the doctor every month and within six months my prescription drug plan goes into the "GAP". I'm new to posting anything. I'll be watching for you if I can find this place again? Hope you find some help.

For those of you who are trying to quit Suboxone, I wish you luck and some advise. Please back read some of my bad luck posts / issues getting off and Good advice from other people. For, Robyn q, the runs were VERY Persistant but the anti-diarrhea pills do help. Just a note, I was having and have pain in my testicles too, weird to see that too. I Am happy those still on Suboxone really do want off. It is doable. Sleep was and still is an issue with me, but it IS getting SLOWLY better. The runs have finally let up too. I do get headaches etc, but later in the day or when food is needed. For those of you who think you have no one or place to read / post about quitting, back read these posts as there are success stories. Exercise helps, nutrition etc. The body cleanse did nothing for me as I already had the runs and did not get proper nutrition. The one thing from GNC that did help me was taking Ultra Ammino Acid Complex or Ammino x endurance and recovery agent powder daily. It is supposed to help your brain. I would and do feel better after drinking it. Good Luck and still trying to be Normal, Z-MAN.

Hi. I am new to this forum. Ive read a everything and plan on trying a few suggestions to help my withdrawal from suboxone. Its only been two days and I already feel horrible. I was on 2mg a day for a year. I already have issues w depression and anxiety went to get my xanax, klonipin, celexa, and wellbutrin scripts refilled today. I never took the benzo unless I had panic attacks. I was on the subs from opiate withdrawls. Felt 100% better. Now that I am withdrawling from subs I feel like my word is crashing down. Im scared bc I am a single mom and dont want to run off my boyfriend. I just feel like another person...numb...sad...scared. I wanna stop. Its just not easy. Thinking about taking pills again just to wd off of them...some say its easier. I just need support. I feel like I am going nuts. I want myself back again, badly.

Been on suboxone for 4 yrs. I travel a lot for work. I'm always getting stressed about getting back for doc appt or having enough to last. I feel like I'm trapped. I want to be totally opiate free. I'm interested in hearing how you did it.

Like you, I can't seem to do anything that I want to do like clean the house and clean my home office. It is piled with boxes and bags,etc and I want to organize it but I can't seem to do it.Alsi, many other things. I sit at the computer way too much. I hate Facebook. I look at porn sites a lot just to stop my mind from thinking. I hate porn very much. (FILTHY) I will be happy,very happy to be off from everything. I know my life will be better.

I started taking suboxone June 25 2007. I know this date cause I have it tattooed on my stomach. I was on 8mg twice a day. After couple years I just started to break pills at the time now the strips into pieces. Getting smaller with every order. It's all about time and patience. I'm taking about 4mg a week now and have had zero WD. I will continue to slow it down this way till I'm suboxone free. Oh and btw I had a nasty pill habit before finding this life saving drug. Everyone's different

I have been on Suboxone since April 2012. I take 18mg (2 and 1/2 a day). My insurance runs out in September and I can not afford the $ it will take to stay on it, plus due to ALOT of discrimination from doctors and hospitals and the fact that being clean is my routine now, I want to end this. Any and all help is appreciated.

Been on box for 3 years , i am maintaining at 1 and a half 8mg strips a day , need to get completely off by jan.2 i will have a week off of work during chrstmas need a good plan to taper from now til dec.24 then cold turkey during christmas break , any help will be appreciated, thanks
