How Long One Can Use Urimax 0.4 (Page 2)

I am taking URIMAX0.4 for last 3 years continuously.I find it very useful. But I am not getting answer to my question that how long one can take it. After how much time I will have to increase the dose? Will it create any serious problem due to prolonged use? I am of 62 years. I am suffering from BPH since 2002.

Have 1 tablet per day, 30 minutes after your dinner.

I AM SUFFERING FROM PROSTATE GLAND ENGLARGED FROM LAST YEAR.NOW UROLOGYIS DOCTOR PRESCRIBE TAMDURA DAILY , I ALWAYS TAKE TAMDURA AT NIGHT PL. SAY HOW LONG TIME TAKE TAMDURA MEDICINE AND NORMAL !

I have suffering from severe difficulties in urination which does not have adequate flow and wastes a substantial time. I have taken PRULIFLOXACINE tabs 1 OD for ten days and thereafter URIMAX D for a month with an advice for further one month. Will the medication result in a remedy ? WITH THANKS.

As I understand allopathy medicines treat symptoms of the disease and not cure from the root cause.So to expect that the disease will dis appear is not correct. So far as possible one can avoid increase in doses by controlling life style.

I am not a doctor but a 73 yrs.old retired scientist.I have BPH for past about 4 yrs.but not very serious. Urination 2-3 times longer with occasional pain of urethra. I was prescribed 0.4 mg urimax/uripro and continued till date.I tried to reduce the dose gradually firs alternative days and then once after two days with permission of my Departmental Hospital Physician.According to my common sense all allopathic drugs subside symptoms and does not remove the root cause but since it is necessary and helpful in daily life and if the dose is safe there is no harm to take required doses if the problem is more.Though I get drugs from department side but still not to waist the drug I receive only 10 capsule in a month which is more than enough for me.
Basically this drug property is to loosen the surroundings of prostate gland(As described in literature/ Net, apart from other possible and experienced side effects possibly it may loosen more organs also if the dose is higher than required. So one has to compromise and balance between ailment and the drug. I might not be correct but some physician has to correct me.One must try alternative medicines such as Homoeopathy, Aayurvedic etc.One cad simultaneously also try this by following rules of the particular pathy (discipline).

urimax will not help if stone is in gall bladder..It helps only if stone is in ureter.

I have been diagnosed a hydrocele approximately 9 years back and the doctor advised me to undergo a surgery no doubt but prescribed me Urimax 0.4 mg to be taken once daily. I do not have any side effects of this drug nor any hydrocele symptoms. How long can I continue taking Urimax and is there any harm if I do so. Please advice.

My mother(54yrs) has frequent urge to urinate whole day/night.
Cystoscopy says bladder = 250cc
Urodynamics test says DETRUSOR underactive,
doctors tried below
UROTONE 25mg (1 tab , 3 times, daily for 90 days) -no positive result.
DARITEN 7.5mg(1 tab, 1 time, daily, for 15 days)-no result.
URIMAX 0.4mg (1 tab, 1 time, daily, for 15 days).
Now doctor tell that bladder is weak,
so advised of CVC(central venous catheter)

What is wrong , what to do ? Please help urgently.
I can call / email separately who want to guide.

I am 72. For the last about 10 years , I had the problem of bedwetting at least once a week. It would so happen that in my dream I am urinating in the loo or somewhere outside & immediately on getting awakened, I would discover that I had in fact wetted the bed. I had Turp in 2007. I visited a urologist who checked me for ultrasound & uroflometery about a year back. Ultrasound was normal but uroflometry was not normal. He advised me urimax .4 mg. I am taking it for about a year. Bedwetting has redused but has not gone fully. Kindly advise.

I have still not received a reply to my earlier query as to how long one can use Urimax 0.4 mg though my doctor tells me to continue indefinitely. Can it help to reduce the hydrocele that I have been diagnosed previously. Please help if someone can as early as possible. Thanks.

Hi

I am suffering from gland enlargement prostate since last 2 years.I am 74 years old.

After prescribed by doctor , I am intake urimax .4 mg ( 1 tablet in a day ).I just want to ask the best time to intake this medicine in a day.

I am taking urimax-04 mg since last two months. I am also suffering from spermotorreh ie. white discharge passing through urine in the morning. several medicines have been changed with the consultation of doctor but no development has been noticed so far. please suggest is it impact of prostate enlargement.
