How Long For A Mylan Non-gel Fentanyl Patch To Reach It's Peak

I'll be honest, I'm a true drug addict. Not proud of it, but I am. For about 3 years now, I've been taking 40 & 80mg OP's, and 30mg Oxycodone religiously. I have a very high tolerance to EVERYTHING. From what I've been reading it takes as low as 6 hours to 24 hours to feel the effects. Yesterday I took a 75mcg/hr non-gel patch around 1:30 pm, placing it on my left back shoulder blade, and knowing it would take a duration to come on, I took plenty other opiates and benzos, hoping I'd wake up feeling like gold from the patch. Well it's 10 am the next morning, nearly 24 hours since taking the patch, and I am not withdrawing, nor do I feel pain, but I still have that bubbly feeling in my stomach that often occurs when one has a bowel movement due to withdrawl. And I also feel like I could feel better than this. My question is, if it takes 24 hours or longer for the patch to peak, and then have to take the damn thing off the next day, what's the purpose of even taking the damn thing?

A patch usually starts to work @8 hrs. after placing it on your body, I usually wear mine over my heart for quicker absorption factor. It lasts up to 3-4 days. How many mg. is your patch you may need to go higher!!!!

I been using the fentanyl 50 non gel, in the mornings when I wake up very stiff and my back in severe pain, I remove my patch and lick the medicine side for about 15 seconds and I can taste the medicine and it's not bad taste but so rewarding because in 10 minutes I'm out of bed pain free and 15 minutes later my Norco kicks in so I'm able to do my house cleaning, laundry etc and it helps my depression alot because I'm independent, but I only lick the patch in the mornings when I wake up and I've been doing this for 11 months,
