How Long Does Valium Stay In Your System? (Page 10)

I've taken maybe five or six Valium in the past two weeks. The last one about two days ago. Other than that I have not taken anything besides Suboxene. Does anyone know how long it takes to get out of your system?

Actually, my Mom has a sixty prescription amount with two refills. So yes they do prescribe that amount and more, depending on the person. I will agree those who worry about a drug test do not usually have one though. And telling someone they have a problem and get help, when they asked about how long a drug stays in their system, never ever helps them get their attention and focus on their road as it is and that they should get help.

I took about 10-13 valium (10s) over 7 days time. 2 weeks later still testing positive for benzos on a 12 panel urine test I got at the drugstore. Listen this stuff is a beast to get rid of. And I did a heavy toxin cleanse And during the "optimum clean" time I tested positive for benzos still! 1-6 weeks plan on being dirty!

I worked in a laboratory for years, and as long as you disclose any and all medications either over the counter or prescription, of course prescribed by your physician (when filling out their form, and you should bring Rx bottles if possible) are not considered as submitting a 'dirty' sample and will pass with a negative ...for illegal substance..test.

Valium builds up in your system. If your taking 1, 10 mg. pill a day it will eventually not be enough. So you start taking two if possible. I was on benzos for a while and got a lot of information from different doctors, friends, and online sources. I like to know everything possible about the pill before I start, or take one just because ( which I don't do anymore...recovering pain pill addict). Hope this helps for those who have to piss test.

Rebound headaches happen with long acting pain medication, such as Morphine extended release (which is supposed to last 12 hours but doesn't for me). I was prescribed ms Contin and it gave me a splitting headache for 2 whole days. The pharmacist told me this was normal and that I should take Tylenol. Then my pain doctor switched me to OxyContin and after a week of taking that I had the same 2day headache. Same advice from the pharmacist. A lot of pain medications cause headaches, including 4 hour, 12 hour, and 24 hour. Although I don't know of any pain medications that last 24 hours other than Fentanyl. Fentanyl did not give me a headache at all. But it gave me bad withdrawal for one day, then after 24 hours I started MS Contin, under the direction of my doctor.

get of your high horse mate obviously people have a problem thats why they come on these forms to ask how long it takes;well not everyone has a problem but they seek clarification on here so please be quiet if you know the answer then state if not button it people dont need to be told what problems they have

I took a valium and it came up dirty in my urine i got court tommorow and they want a doctors note or script which i dont have because i got it from.a.friend so can i ask my.doctor to write a note

Valium stores in fat cells. I took 40-50mg a day for about 7 or 8 days. My urinalysis was not this past wednesday but the one before. I stopped taking them 4 days before my test using prescribed diuretics 40mg to increasr urination. My pee was clear clear clear. I took a diuretic at 5am and 7 32oz glasses of water urinated 5 times though it was basically clear when i woke up. I took a vitamin and b complex went to the methadone clinic but before going urinated once more saw yellow n thought i was good to go.buzzzzzzzz wrooooong. 3 days layer results say they were there. I read on some sites that eating and drinking foods that acidify the urine help with pushing the metabolized bi- products of the diazepam out. Cranverry juice is good coffee sweet tea - disregard the fact this is talking about amphetaamines and concentrate on the drinks and foods to acidify urine.. valium sucks and was reading tha some tests have issues with picking up on klonopin. Xanax is outta ur system quickly. Ill let yall know not this saturday but next one or that following monday my results if the acid thing works

Hear Hear! although I have a script for Valium and hadn't taken one in over a week it still showed up on a drug screen. And it was prescribed for muscle spasms, 10 mg

There's no way...Clonidine is not a controlled drug, it's not a scheduled drug, it's not a narcotic of any kind...It's a blood pressure pill...If that's all you took and you failed a DS, then you're looking at a false positive.

I agree with everything you said with the exception of your first sentence...Benzos are narcotics...ALL scheduled or controlled drugs are narcotics.

At a darker time in life I abused the hell out of valium: ~20mg per day for ~7 years. I have a sedentary job and slow metabolism. This crap hangs around for a long time in adipose (fat) tissue. I didn't clear my system for 3 months. A cold turkey off will make one question life. The ride isn't free. Best of luck
