Hey, how the heck do you find out the results of your random drug test at methadone clinics? I gave them my sample on monday morning (June 20) and it is now June 24th and I have heard nothing. There is no way it is positive unless there is a false positive because of ibuprofen. I take 800 mg of OTC ibuprofen almost everyday for my aches and pains. The reason why I am anxious is because this is my first random after admission and yesterday I found out that I have a 10 am appointment with my counselor that I never scheduled! My next appointment should be July 5th which is still there. I tried finding out what it is about and the front desk had no ideas and told me to ask my counselor so I called her three times and left a voicemail early and of course no call back. Is it to discuss something like my results or something not related. I just wish they tell you whats going on. They never even told me anything about my first day drug test. I just want to know how they usually tell you the results. Like do they call you or make you talk with your counselor?

Well i can tell you that the clinic i go to has an extreamly high rate of false positives...i know that many medications can result in false positives....u have the right to have it retested...also keep in mind if proper protocol isn't followed during the ua then the sample can become contaminated. www.samhsa.gov has all the federal standards for drug testing.
