How Long Does Xanax Stay In Your Urine?

Took 1 and a half pills of Xanax on Monday afternoon. I do not have a clue how many milligrams that is though. And I never took any before that and just took my drug test on Friday afternoon. It was a urine test. Should i pass?

The half-life of Alprazolam is about 12 hours (more or less). To be safe, it should basically be out of your system within a few days after taking it, especially if you did not take any before or after Monday. So I *think* you should be in good shape, but that obviously depends on a variety of other factors, such as how sensitive the test is, the way your body metabolizes things, etc. Hope this helps. the half life is 11 hours so for each eleven hours since you took the last 2 mg. half has been metabolized and most likely excreted in urine. dpending on the sensitivity of the test I would say two and a half day. three would be better and exrecise and drink plenty of fluids and you should be good.

probly will. a substitution is in order or go to the emergency roo with a panic attack or amxiety attack> they will generall give you a zanax whille youo are ther and write you out four or five till you can get to the doc. Ememergency rooms can refuse to treat yoo because you have no money also

Xanax is a LEGAL prescription, most company's do NOT test for LEGAL drugs, I posed this question to my nurse friend he does drug tests & so many people ask her that & her reply is, You have to have a prescription for them & their LEGAL!!! so Yes you will pass the test, they only test for ILLEGAL drugs LOL

This can be bad Xanax is one of the pain in the drugs to take with urine drug tests coming up, I know. It sucks!! Don't worry there is a solution to this problem. If you want to get toxins out of urine (or/and body) you want to make sure your eating habits are on point. Meaning that you want to start by getting those eight 8 oz. Waters in daily, (bear min.) go for the gold try 10-12oz. ( do not over drink water can die from this) don't drink more than the body can handle. ( like if you feel sick or want to vomit no more water) okay let's not get stupid... You want to sweat so you might want to take a run jog sweat damm it sweat. You wanted to get high on probation or while you had to take a urine drug test for whatever reason, you wanted to get high none the less we all have to pay some how. So water, sweating, eating well. Suggestions: toxin release in foods like CRANBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES, STRAWBERRIES, APPLES, NUTS, ALMONDS, (be careful if you have allergies to nuts):) :) ( don't get hurt please). On the day of test make sure not to eat or drink any coffee or soda till urine is over... Stick to water when you wake up (no food) stay away from even the good foods day of test... Now you give yourself at the least 3-4 days of doing these things for it to work. After 4 days you should really be clean of any drugs. Cocain, Herion, Xanax, OXC, Marijuana counts should be down as well... :) GOOD LUCK!!!!

No, if that were true they wouldn't test for opiates because you can get a script for perks or whatever. Same with methadone most drug tests are a minimum of five panel most are more though now a days benzos (xanax) is on five panel

I'm not sure what kind of companies you are dealing with, or what state you're living in, or the said laws. In Georgia, Companies will use a ten panel drug screen when they hire you, if the company requires a drug screen as condition of employment. A ten panel will test for the traditional five, plus five prescription drugs, which include benzo's(xanax, valium, ativan, etc.) barbituates, methadone, Oxycodone(percocet, oxycontin), and Hydrocodone(norco, Lor-tab, vicoden). Companies that drug screen also require a ten panel drug screen if you are hurt on the job. The only time you will be given a five panel test in Georgia, is when you are sent for a random drug screen, without suspicion of using.

but benzo's are NOT legal,you have to prove you have a script.So if u test positive for benzo's,you MUST provide a script in your name to get out of it.It IS illegal if you have no script for it.

I take the 5 panel test every Thursday here in San Antonio, TX. Benzos are on the five panel and they give me an ETG test for alcohol. It's for regular probation. Well i took one 2mg white bar today which is Saturday and i'm just worried about passing my test on Thursday. They even test for that K2 stuff here.

So I usually don't take Xanax regularly, but was VERY needed Thurs evening & Firiday day, total consumed 1 & 1/4th a bar both days (little bits every few hrs)
So question is, will I pass my urine drug test by Tuesday morning?

I took 8 mg of Xanax and tested negative after 15 days from my last dose. It could have been out before 15 days but I don't know because I always give me a 15 day window. Hope that helps!
