I have taken 4 1mg Xanax in the past three days. How long does it take to clear your system for a urine drug test?

I don't know for sure abt habitual users but im in treatment so I get tested once a month.. I have taken 1 mg of Xanax 7 days away once and 5 days once, from my screen and passed. passed the cup instant test and they send them to the lab. I am an opiate addict and used to occasionally use Xanax for 12 years. I am average height and weight, not a ton of exercise and I didn't flood my system with water (hardly drink any) I know everyones different but hope that helps

The Valium is the problem. They stay in your system for a very large amount of time

The Valium is the problem....I would compare benzos to marijuana when it comes to the amount of time it takes to be able to pass a drug test. I've taken a single Valium 10mg and had it take almost 6 weeks to get out of my system. But allot of factors play into it such as weight metabolism etc. Benzos are very tricky when it comes to drug tests and individual results vary greatly.

I took half of a xanax pill and passed a urine drug test 13 days later. I tested myself at home first and got a negative result. I am not a habitual user of the substance.

I have a proven self used sure way to pass a hair drug test its soo easy bleach ur hair leave it on longer than they say then dye ur hair back to normal color do this a day or two prior to test and to b safe I dyed my hair the night prior n left that on for longer than they say to. I passed outright n my hair contained alotta different illicit drugs for whole length of my hair . dnt knw how to get sure way for clean urine test but hope this hair info helps cause everything says its unbeatable n I was terrified til a friend told me she passed the same way. So unbeatable my ass!

Dude xanax stays in your system for a couple days and servel weeks for a regular user ...your misinforming the public and it of course stays longer for obese or older people ...

so you're saying regardless how much xanax I take every day which is 8mg for 3 weeks. will it only take 3 days for it to get out of my system and take a urine test that gets sent to the lab? if not how many days do I need to stop before I take my test? because there's so many varying answers on here! I go to the methadone clinic appreciate your help please!

Yes. You cannot have any benzos in your system at all. The combination of taking the two can kill you. So one you start suboxones stay away from benzos altogether.

No because you can't be on both at same time or while both in your system. They won't even prescribe you suboxones with benzos such as Xanax,Ativan, klonipin, Valium, ambien etc benzodiazepine class in your system. The combination can kill you. Very dangerous.

You can't take benzodiazepine while on suboxones, it can kill you. That's why you can't have any in your system if trying to get rx for them. I know because I'm going thru detoxing off xanax now because I am addicted to both.

I have read recently on the web MD thatXanax remains in the bloodstream long after its anti-anxiety effects have worn off. Xanax’s average half-life is 11 hours. This means that it takes an average of 11 hours for the body to eliminate half the Xanax dose. In older or obese people, or those with liver disease, Xanax’s half-life is longer, as long as 40 hours.

It takes several half-lives to eliminate a drug completely. So for most people, there may still be a small fraction of Xanax in your blood two days or more after taking a single pill. But there is a point at witch the half-life of the drug is completely eliminated it does not just go on forever dividing in half once it is at a certain low point it is eliminated completely but could take up to a month in a healthy average weight person with decent fluid intake and no liver problems but even this will vary because of an individuals metabolism. Usually after 2 or 3 days the level is so neglegable that it cannot be detected by normal means but if say a court wanted to detect it enough to spend a couple thousand dollars on a more in depth test that most but not all testing facilities even have the equipment for they could measure the half-life all the way down to and past the final ng they could but someone would really want to have it in for you to fail (workman's comp., or you really pissed someone off) this type of testing has been done with almost any illicit drug.

I wouldn't count on that!!! I took one mg a day for two straight weeks. None after that because I had to test in three weeks. I bought a bunch of home tests and started taking them in two weeks (one week away from the test) POSITIVE EVERY TIME!!! I drank a gallon of water a day for four days before the test. I passed both the home and the Dr test!!! Whew! Not worth it!
