I have taken 4 1mg Xanax in the past three days. How long does it take to clear your system for a urine drug test?

Hi Alison.. As everybody knows alprazolam is short acting Benzo. As you stated you took it six weeks ago and the drug itself would be out of your system. Test yourself prior to the screening to ease your concerns. Good luck.

your so wrong. 6 weeks, the half life in xanax is like 10 hours. get the correct info befor you just make up s***. google xanax and its half life in urine again.

Find a good doctor they are all over the place u just have to find the hook up docs thru word of mouth ie freinds who have been and them you need to know how to go about asking for it

Go to your family doctor and tell them u have horrible anxiety u already tried other meds any nothing else worked

Hello everyone, I know there has been a lot of different answers here... I'm not sure what to go by.

I took xanax for about six months but not every day.. I would take it at night a few times a week only when I needed if to calm my thoughts and allow me to sleep and it was only .5mg or sometimes .25mg.

The last time I took it was march 12th and before that I took it in February. For about a week.

I have a drug test in another country, specifically United Arab Emirates where my new job is. I will be tested upon arrival which is May 12th. So from the last time I took it to the day of the testing is about 9weeks.

I'm not sure if it's like American testing or not, but I know it is forbidden to have a history of this drug for my job. So my thought is that the test will be highly sensitive? So I'm not sure if the drug is "out of my system" by 6 weeks.. Will it still show that I have taken it? I know it's a urine test they will be giving me. If I don't pass this test, I get sent home immediately.

What are all of your thoughts?

By monday afternoon. Even if you took another 1mg today you would still be fine for a urine by Monday afternoon. Hope this helps.

should be gone by Monday. that's if you don't take anymore. Even if you took one today you would be ok for a urine Monday afternoon.

i took 1 mg this am i had shakes in hands & arms bad this am & last night couldnt hold them steaady plus real bad stomach and spaced out & NO SLEEP freezing but Exhausted I didnt take any ambian i have if i need it im going up not down BUT i was on 6-8 mgs of zanex daily for a LONG time going to tak to Doc on Monday

well is it making your judgement or you mind cloudy? Do you feel ok on it? Its a really small dosage maybe its keeping anxiety that your unaware under control? Or maybe u are aware of it? I still sometimes take .05 everyone once in a great while if I cant sleep. Its better then being on something everyday. Its prescribed but like I said I dont take it everyday and I didnt want to do a lunesta or ambien. Whats the most you take in one day?

Good for you Im struggling at 1 mg for 3-4 weeks cant seem to get down to 3/4 taper just when i think i have it i guess the half life kicks in and it kicks my ass. I have heart s=disease and had aBi pass surgery so i can't fool around with the taper. Its not even showing up in my urine once a week so i thought id have it beat My doctor saud try a 1/4 mg a week NO way yea that worked down to one from 2 but less then one is brutal How long did it take you to jump ? I have to be back to work in a month and i want to be clear headed I dont think im going to be able to jump before Which Im not happy about

I did. I don't know what I was worried about. I always freak myself out. I should know better. I do know better. But when it comes to ourselves I think we tend to freak out more. It was only 1 mg I think, maybe it was even .05. I don't remember now. I cant even find my old post. LOL go figure. I used to take Norco 10 and I think they fried my brain. lol. I have not taken one in over 2 years. Thank God I think that had to be the worst thing in my life!

No one is misconstrued, There are many things that come into play. Body weight, genes, how long someone has been using, type of drug/med, I could go on and on. I hope that you have cut back. I hope that you are taking the meds because your sick and not for fun. That didn't come out right I don't wish u ill either. Just be careful.

try getting off the methadone as soon as you can. That stuff is so bad for you. If you have to be on anything I would try suboxone and celexa together. The lowest dose of suboxone if you can. Say 1 mg 2 times a day or even one time a day. I am not a doctor but this has worked for many ppl I know. Since people are not on a high dose of suboxone getting off of it is not that hard and a lot of docs don't mind keeping patients on 1mg for maintenance. Just get away from that methadone! Celexa is a great anti depressant and works great for pain. 40 mg is the perfect dosage. Hope this helps someone out there, Like I said I am NOT a doctor. :)

I know for a fact there are not any benzos in Suboxone! It is an extremely toxic and potentially cocktail.. Two things...#1he is lying and #2 the lab made a mistake (good luck with that!)
