How Long Will Suboxone And Heroin Stay In Your Urine? (Page 2)

I have taken Heroin for a few months. Quit and took a few strips of 8 mg subs. Got BACK on Heroin for a few days like an idiot. I have a voluntary drug test I want to take at a clinic to present to my lawyer for a court case. My question is, I smoked a small amount of Heroin for the past few days and I know Heroin leaves your urine in 4 days. But if I take 16mg of Suboxone how long does it stay in your system? Will it show up on my test? I do not use sub's daily. This has just been an on and off thing. If I smoked tonight and take subs ( just 2 strips ) tomorrow or next week, will it show up in my system in under a month? Anyone with any information please let me know your opinion. Thanks!

The statement you made that a special test has to be took for subs to show up is FALSE! I know for a fact because my husband goes to the doctor & they do standard urine test & YES Subs do show up!! Whoever told you it had to be a special test straight out lied to you!!

(Not the Ash from below) yes all to common NOW that subs are being tested for in common panel urine tests. And the other Ash below states suboxone tests as an opiate, this is false as well. It only tests for bupe, you will never have a positive screen for opiates due to suboxone.

To answer to the previous post, the presence of substances in your system are measured in ng, suboxone has a mean half life. Please Google this as I have a hard time explaining in an accurate way we can understand lol.

The drug detection time chart from "alwaystestclean" reportedly shows that Buprenor­phine can be detected in your urine for 7 days.

Dude if you take 16mgs of Sub you're going to be pissing dirty for like a week. Let's do the math. Sub has a mean half life of between ~20-24 hours. You take 16mg today, tomorrow you'll have 8mgs, next day 4mgs, next day 2mgs, next day 1mgs, next day .5mg, ect ect. Sub tests are getting much more common btw.

Not true Mezz you are giving the wrong information to her, courts do test for suboxoxe and half life is just this if u take a 8mg suboxoxe on Monday Tues the levels in your body would show up as just under 4mg on Wed it would be reduced to just under 2mg Thursday it would have very little life left to the suboxoxe & most people who are subscribed 1/8mg pill per day would be feeling sick if u were doing 2/8mg pills a day your sickness would of started on Wednesday if you had taken 1/8mg pull on Monday. U can find a chart on line explaining half life of suboxoxe just Google it on 1 of the 1st 4 sites you will find it

This is true I work in a suboxone Clinic and with the 9 panel drug test we use, suboxone is not tested.. But we will on occasion send it out to check if suboxone (test name- buprenorphine) if is being used, which would be a good thing.

I have some sealed 8mg strips of SUBOXONES that had an expiration date of
7-2013

They have been stored in a dark cabinet in my climate controlled basement

Will they still work if I use them? I am a chronic pain patient and sometimes come close to running out of my monthly supply

ash love ur advive sound so sweet and prob hot 2. im getting off subs to go on vivatrol pills down to 1mg now that i cut off ad wening down is so much better than just stopping from a 4 or even a 2.

Terrible terrible misleading information. H half life = 0.5 - 1 hours (MAXIMUM). Ur body then metabolizes H into another chemical which its half life is 1-3 hours (MAXIMUM) this chemical (which if present in urine will signify a pos. for H is rarely tested for - will be tested for if tester suspects H use). This chemical is further metabolized to codeine and finally into morphine, and these metabolites have a half life of (4-6 hours MAXIMUM...the heaviest of users with the slowest metabolism will clear half life in 6 hours..avg user to infrequent/one time user will use 5 hrs as a base half life. Meaning 1g of H @ 12pm Monday will be cut down to 0.22g of morphine after 24hrs (12pm Tues). At 6pm Tuesday you have 0.11g of morphine in your body theoretically (most likely even less). At 6am Wednesday morning you will piss clean with a panel test unable to register the 0.025g of morphine, theoretically, in your urine, most likely again it's far less. At 12pm Wednesday you are below 0.0125g of morphine present in your body, enabling you to pass any and all urine screens.
