I was 21 days clean of suboxone yesterday 2/28 and took 2 mg! On my 20th day 2/27th it still showed in my urine but my levels on 2/22 was 33ml which my doc said i was so close to it being out..i have been on this medicine for 6 1/2 yrs!!! What can I do to get it out FAST i want the vivitrol shot!

Suboxone has a half life. It is said that the Half life is 72 hours. I read on a blog that 8 mg of can take up to a week and that's been my experience. I think a 48 hour half life is more accurate but most websites go with 72 hours. If you take it everyday you have to remember that the doses stack. Meaning if you take 8 mg today at 8 am tomorrow at 8 am you still have at least 4 mg in your system. Thus, your next dose adds on 8 mg plus the 4. Drinking water and exercise does assist that a little, but half life is pretty straightforward. Metabolism also plays a role. If taken daily, I would say a month until complete elimination. If taken occasionally or sporadically I think 2 to 3 weeks is probably safe.
