I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

For any form of percocet or vicodin the typical length of time they're in your system is 2-5 days...depends on your body...don't waste money on flush drinks or pills...just hydrate your body but facts are facts the life span is 24 hrs after that period it has to filter your system. ..it doesn't matter how long before you've been taking them ...from the time of the last pill swallowed it's 2-4 days.

If you're prescribed meds and have to take a drug test for work and employer can not hold a positive drug test against uou...make sure to save the bottle...and don't think a bottle 2 months old will work lol..Also worse case you can get a note from your doctor.

If you're not prescribed these meds understand addiction and withdrawal is a horrible thing to endure. ..there's really nothing they give you to help with withdrawal. ..if you're in a program they will monitor you but you've got to just suffer through it...and sorry to say this but if withdrawal was easy what lesson would you learn...

Take only meds that are prescribed to you as they're prescribed to you and only take as long as absolutely necessary..

When you abuse the drugs you risk your life...hell even if you dont these drugs KILL...just one can ...you hurt yourself...family...friends and even strangers...those who do sincerely need the meds have to jump through hoops to get the help they need...I speak from experience. ..and we are tested like substandard humans...it's unfair period

I don't use marijuana but if you want a buzz or whatever go have a joint..stay away from pain meds and use common sense people IF YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A DRUG TEST DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING NOT PRESCRIBED TO YOU BY A LICENSED DOCTOR... COMMON SENSE...WHY RISK IT...

Doesn't matter if you were prescribed these pain meds and they're in your system your employer can't hold that against you...simply inform the lab that you were prescribed the pain med..take the empty bottle with you. ..but yes they should be out of your system typically 3 to 5 days

I take 10 to 12 vocoder a day. I have been on pain meds off and on for years. I have made appt to see a doctor as I'm ready to stop. I don't ever again want to take another as long as I live! I want to live! My body is so tolerant at this point it's normal. My question is, will my doctor I will be seeing be able to help me? I've looked for help for months and found one...I will be going to therapy as well. I'm so happy to get started. Is there medicine out there to help me with withdraws? I pray daily! I'm getting off because I want to and because I love my family. I think way to many doctors are too free at getting people addicted to meds and not realizing the problems they coz. I know I will never take another but my biggest fear is withdraws.

I have been off work for 2 months with a broke foot i have been taking 2 10-325 hydros a day. cast is off and i have stopped the hydros today thursday and have to take a drug screen to return to work dot next wednesday will it be out of my system.

About 30 to 45 days. I'm an addict. With out a urin flush. At min liss long. With a urine flush 3days.

Yes I am 27 years old and I have had really really lower back pain that runs down my right leg and it's really non stop pain. The only thing that helps is pain medications n I'm on Norco 10s and I have to take 4 a day. This really sucks on how much you have to do to get treatment n to get pain meds. Because of all the people that abuse it n ruin it for people that really need it. Its Bulls***.

I have been in this situation as my daughter has stolen my prescribed narco 10.5 & left me with a clean test at my pain clinic. I told them what happened. Now don't know if they honestly believed me but I got my meds. I have been on a learning experience with pain clinic "rules" and some of it really bothers me. In June of 2014 I learned I have congestive heart failure as well as heart surgery when I was 10 ( I am 66 now ) It has been challenging working with the pain clinic tho my cardiologist is OK with the strength of pain med. I feel like the pain clinic has a problem with me now. Sounds ridiculous but so it goes.

Here's what I don't get people...of you KNOW you have a drug test for whatever reason WHY take the risk period...This isn't about abusers making it hard for those of us in pain management situations which I absolutely agree with its about people asking if their tests will be clean or not...if you want a 100 % guarantee do not take any meds that are not prescribed to you by a doctor it's that simple...everyone's body is different...bottom line for alleys described in this thread it takes any where from 24 hrs to 5 days to be out of your system for a urine drug test...if you wanna risk it then by all means take that half of a 5 mg or 4 10mg of whatever your heart so desires...if you want to be sure to pass a drug test again DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING NOT PRESCRIBED TO YOU BY YOUR DOCTOR AT ALL or at least not within a week of a damn drug test...it's common sense

I have rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis and have been taking Lauratabs for approx 5 yrs along with mexatrethate and some injections for 20 years. I take l every 8 hrs. And Mexatrethate once a week Recently a law was.passed that you have to hand a written prescription to your pharmacy. My Dr. Went on vacation without leaving me a prescription, and I have been in misery for past week.

You who are abusing drugs that have no prescription are causing us who are in real pain to have to pay more for ours. I have to pay more for the pills plus I have to go once a month to the pain management doctor which cost me more money. And it is not just me but all of us who have to go to pain management to get our pills. So please if you really hurt get a prescription of your own. I understand that you may run out a some point. I've been there. But you that get them from some other person or place think of the trouble you are cause us. It doesn't matter what pill hydrocodone, vidicon, lortab, oxycodone, percocet, oxycotin, etc. Please Stop!!!!

I took 5 mg as prescribed and 3 days later took my normal drug test...last month the doc wanted to know why nothing was in my system...well I couldn't tell him that my 30 yr old son stole some from me cus he has a problem so I lied and said I took them as prescribed. ..point is I suffered 3 full days with nothing and my test was completely clean! Now I have a hidden lockbox and my son is in treatment

I totally agree. Those of us suffer greatly because of those who abuse it. I was in a car accident and had a twisted pelvic, back pain, nerve damage and shattered should. I suffer every day.

Hello I need some help .... I took 1 narco #5 wed and I'm doin a urine test mon. That will be sent to the lab.... I have took anything 3 days before this and only took 1 #5. Like I said... I need to if I drink water will it be out for my lab test...?

hydrocodone shows up different than oxycodone. while they are both opiates they break down different and on a urine 5 panel drug test they will show up different. I can attest to this personally.

They're the same med.... it will show up in a drug test depending on how many days prior you took the med. however you were prescribed the very same med so no worries
