I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

I ALSO SUFFER, 20YRS NOW, MIGRAINES FROM HELL, TOO. LASTING DAYS, VOMITING, THE LOT OF IT. SO SORRY YR HURTING. WHEN I WAS PRESCRIBED OVER 10 MEDS, A FEW STRONG (10/325 HYDROCODONE, FENTANYL, ETC), I KNEW I HAAAAD TO TAKE FENTANYL EXACTLY AS PRESCRIBED, BUT, AS FOR THE HYDROCODONES, HELL!!! IF I DIDNT NEED, WHY TAKE? ALSO, THEY DONT WORK MUCH AAAFTER U HURT, SO IF I HAD TO GO TO DR OR WHATEVER, TOOK AHEAD OF TIME. I THINK YR BEST BET IS TO BE HONEST WITH YR DR.! HYDROCODONES DIDNT HELP MIGRAINES DOR ME, THEYRE FOR "BREAKTHROUGH PAIN" CUZ I DIDNT WANNA KEEP UPPING THE FENTANYL DOSAGE. BUT WITH EVERY MED, U GOTTA HAVE A DR. U CAN TRUST WITH THE TRUTH. U MIGHT GET BETTER PAIN HELP. ALSO, ALL GOES ON FILE...WITH INSURANCE, FDA, ETC., SO IIIF U TRUST DR., ASK IF HE/SHE CAN WRITE THE SCRIPT TO SAY "AS NEEDED". HOPE THAT HELPS.....

Don't ever say you took more meds than prescribed after signing a contract with a pain doc! If you're only having s urine test they most likely are not testing the amount in your system as much as the presence of drugs you should be taking and absence of drugs you shouldn't have. Good luck!

I took two Norco 10/325 on Wednesday and chewed them. I got tested on the next Tuesday. There sending it to a lab, will it show up? Im pretty worried!!

Lol a pain doctor wont and CANT have u arrested for that. If that were the case I would be a lifer in prison and so would a million other ppl. Besides, standard drug tests screen for the presence of drugs NOT the amount. Hope this helps

"YOU people" are you serious man? People have been abusing narcotics for thousands of years. There are and will always be drug addicts. My advice is get over it the fact is these meds are both under and over prescribed depending on location and if your having a hard time that's life. Don't be so cynical have a cookieXD

I scoured several forums prior to my ua and want to share my experience in case it helps someone else who might be panicking like I was. I used morphine 10 days prior to my ua, I don’t know the amount I took but I wasn’t worried about it showing up over a week later. However I took a 7.5 Lortab on Thursday night, 2 more on Friday, and a fourth pill Saturday morning. My ua was scheduled for Tuesday but was moved to Wednesday morning, so about 4 days after my last pill. During that time I drank lots of water, at least a gallon a day, though I didn’t change my diet or exercise. I am 5’8” 190 lbs 25 years old and fairly inactive, I don’t consider myself to have a fast metabolism by any means. I was expecting the results to take a few days to come back but the day after my test the company called me and said I passed! What’s even crazier is that on Sunday I took 30 mg Adderall and 1 mg of Xanax and neither of those showed up in my urine either. I don’t know if I received a 5 or 10 panel exam, but I was shocked the Adderall didn’t show since I had been taking it daily for weeks.

So I took some hydro 5/325 Sunday night. I have a drug test tomorrow morning. Will it be in my system still? It was Sunday at 10, that was the last one.

Taking opiates forever regardless of legitimate back pain is not a good life, and most people who are not "good people like you", were just like you, then doctors stop the scripts after years, and anyone who takes opioid painkillers legitimately or not, will have major issues, or you would not even be online about this, but it's also how lucky you are about finding the right doctors, I've had 3 ruptured discs, along with other issues, I was gonna kill myself due to excruciating pain, unbearable. But I've known 20 year old girls no more than 110 lbs, that went to the Dr. For a cold and got cough medicine with hydrocodone! What! I switch Drs., but because maybe I'm honest or because I'm a somewhat fit male, f*** I don't know.

Mine will be 70 hours after I last took. So I guess that would be a losing gamble?

You won't be aressted. How depending what state you live in, and if you live in one that has stricter laws and regulations regaurding opiates you may get a pass on your first infraction. Just be honeSt and tell the your pain regiment isn't working. I had minor infractions from my brother stealing high quantities of my oxycodones. Eventually your doctor will send you to some sort of drug interview clinic for them to evaluate if you have a problem and require further treatment or if you mY be dismissed. and you don't have to so as they say. Just talk it out with your doctor especially if you truly have pAin problems as I do. So some worry.

My pain doc test for hydro, which is lortabs, and oxy, which is percs or dilaudids. They can tell what you took depending on the test panel they use. I pay a lot of money for when they test me.

New nano tech means a good pain management clinic has state of the art testing as do most places now doing such tests so forget it 12 hrs because it's detectable no matter what for 72 hrs. 5 years ago was different. Hydro will show in urine 72 hrs after taken no matter what one does. By day 4 there is only a 50% chance of detection then it drops 10% per day after that so day 7 is 20% chance it shows, day 8 is 10% or 90% it won't & day 9 zero chance. Sometimes fake tests are giving just to trick people which will come back negative of course but a real test is going to show it 3 days later. Sorry to disappoint but I know because I do the testing :) I won't miss it in the urine up to 6 days. Most won't 3 days but I am really looking at things a regular nano test screen might not be. Those are 72 hrs. I look at other things then zero in to find it and I am going to find it. It's my job. I will also give the dummy test which means a person give sample for me when I'm not actually testing so I have to report negative. That's done to get people to get braver to try and get away with it but they get caught eventually from being bold addicts. My duty is to catch them so I can then provide help for that medical problem while saving those in real pain a lot of other problems.

They are the same thing.. Just different names. Won't show up any different. Both are opiates and that's what they test for.
