I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

I myself am a recovering addict but in my case I have to use prescription narcotics for my pain. I would love to do the all natural supplements but due to my other meds I cant. So you can call me a legal junkie all you want but I would rather be that than stone cold dead.

By the way, the newest labs also test for ways a drug test is trying to be beaten. They can tell if your urine is diluted, and some of the additives you might put in it to avoid being detected. They can even tell when you have taken diuretics, idk how. They can tell if it's old by the smell. To be safe, give it at least 3-4 days, a bad liver might take up to 5 days. If they catch you watering it down, it counts as a dirty and can be even worse for you.

The pharmacy will have proof..get a print out..no bottle needed.
Any hydro meds take 2-5 days max...if hes not a heavy user meaning daily for a time period then ur fine... Just drink plenty of water and my coworkers use dieretics and even bowel stimulants since the organs break down the meds....
I dont go that far .Occasionally about 2 times a month i take Hydrocodone meds for a hip injury from a car accident..which required 2 surgeries....i just eat alot of fresh fruit and drink alot of water thru out the day....avoid salt....

Hi I have been on painmanagement for 15 years I'm disabled I just lost a doctor not of my own doing another doctor accepted me and in my appt day called me and said I wasn't a good for him and hung up on me I have called everyone been in 2 hospitals I can't get inpatient detox because I'm no addict always by the book could not go to methedone clinic because I'm not an addict any help or suggestions also no doctor will see me because that doctor accepted me I have no where to go period I've tried everything I take 100 mg of methedone a day and 80 mg of roxicodone need help

Thank you for saying what I've thought every since the rules and regulations got so unreal I've been on prescription medications legally for over ten years and it really sucks to be treated like a criminal for a back injury I wouldn't wish on anyone thanks to people getting high on them now I have more doctors appointments have to travel twice as far and if that's not enough when I get to pain management then I'm tested then I have to convince the doctor that I'm not a dopead and that I really hurt and get meds that aren't strong enough but beggars can't be choosers there was a time when pain was treated like any medical condition not anymore thanks dopeheads you made a difficult situation even worse you jerks!!!

I'm so glad I found this out bc I took 2 7.5s Monday night at 10 pm like an i**** when I knew I had a DT Friday at 9am and I was scared to death. That's the only 2 I took in a year bc im trying to stop suboxone and with 7 days off I couldn't sleep bc my legs went crazy omg, so them two stop my wd. Can u tell me the half life of suboxone? I've been taking 4mg a day the last 3 months and I stopped 7 days ago. It's Tuesday. Do u think i'll be fully clean from it too? I've got to pass this test. I don't need drug court.

I too am on a pain management protocol for back pain (3 surgeries and counting). If you are worried about being caught with too much or too little in your system set aside a weeks worth on refill day and take as directed for that last week before you see your Doctor. However you will likely run short during mid month and that sucks. I got lucky and have a pretty good Doc so I can be honest and he adjusts my meds - morphine 30mg ER, oxycodone 10x 3 daily, soma 4/day and xanax 4x day cause I'm an a**hole when in pain.

Oh my gosh, I totally agree with you on that, I was diagnosed with chronic arthritis and scoliosis when I was 17 and I too can predict when its going to rain and yes...winter sucks!!!!

Not sure what an a7 test is but I do know I just had a urine screen done by a pharmacy mtm guy my doc has started monitoring me recently and it showed up with the oxy (which I'm prescribed) and hydrocodone. I was shocked as I didn't know I had taken the hydrocodone, I mistakenly grabbed my dad's (who I care for full time) bottle out of my purse, that's the only way it could have happened. Anyway the urine screen showed up both and now apparently I'm facing loosing my pain meds over this.

I know this is an old post, but you said EXACTLY the same thing I say to people who take these meds without a prescription. I had a car accident 6 years ago. I've 8 bulging discs, rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. I am sick and tired of suffering because some *****s want to illegally take pills for people like you and I. Stop taking pain meds. Try some MJ. That doesn't affect people who really need pain meds, and they're both just as illegal in most states.
