I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

I have put this to the test. A 10mg hydrocodone will be in your blood and urine for roughly about 12-24 hours. Ot is not fat soluble like marijuana so you have the option of exercising and sweating this poison out. These are highly addictive. But to each their own.

Hello. When you are drug tested with urine, the test looks for a yes/no like pregnancy tests. Your test will be fine. Be careful not following directions if you run out b 4 you're due for a refill you're forced to wait. The pharmacy won't dispense even if the doc gives you a script unless he increases dose or frequency

dude, you put this big pharma chemical up your nose? i whole heartedly believe in pain meds but honestly they are a downward spiral for anyone. you get hooked fast. why wouldnt you use cocaine? or heroin to match? you have no idea the damage you do to your body with these pharmacy drugs. they wont tell you the fine print, they just say take this and it'll stop the pain.... pfft. murica huh?

Ok I was prescribed hydro 7.5s I ran out and I have to have some show up in my system for my drug screen. Would hydro 10s show up the same as 7.5s?

Oxy's do not show up as Opiates. Don't be stupid. They are a synthetic opiate and don't show up unless specifically testing for oxy itself.

JUST IN CASE ANYONE READS THIS THREAD FROM BEGINNING:

I know this is old but people have still been posting...... CORRECTION from a post from October 2012..... Oxycodone is NOT 3 or 4 times stronger than Hydrocodone....it is actually 1 1/2 ( ONE AND A HALF) times stronger. So, 15mgs of oxycodone is equal to 22 1/2mgs OD hydrocodone. It does not matter whether there is acetaminophen in it or not. Seriously, this is the truth......1 1/2 times stronger NOT 3-4 times stronger.

Not true, Ms. Nurse......not true at all! Vicodin and Lortab are both hydrocodone and one is not in the oxy family while the other not. They are both the same thing with different names! Don't scare everyone with your "I know what I'm talking about" when actually you got it all wrong. Please, do your research before spewing something you don't know......

BTW, I happen to be a nurse as well.

I am with a pain doctor I had back surgery that didn't work so I'm in pain all the time I worked with kids with disabilities for 20 years I had a few fall on top of me and it tore my back up. I am on oxycodone 10 mg 1 every 4 hours and I can add a Tylenol with it if needed. This is not working and it makes me sleepy I have a life to live I can't be in bed constantly...I decided to take 2 at a time but it just makes me tired. I have been on loratabs and Percocet before but they got to where they didn't work anymore. Is there anything else I can take that won't knock me out? I don't know much about these kinds of drugs. Any suggestions would be helpful Thanks

I've been with my pain doctor for years and for the first time ever my drug test came back today with absolutely nothing in my system...I was taking viks 10mg 4 times a day...I took my last one as prescribed the night b4 the test in the morning. ..This has never happened. ..they switched me to perks but I had 6 of my old script...totally different viks vs perks...The last half 5mg I took Sunday morning at 6 am...I drug tested today Thursday. ..After a totally clean test which is just as bad as one with meds you're not currently prescribed I just pray that the viks don't show up...I realize they were part of the months prior script but it still makes me nervous. ..I don't take anything that I'm not prescribed so I know nothing bout how long they stay in your system. ..should it be out of my system in the time frame stated above?

I know that's right ....I am on disability due to a ruptured disc and permanent nerve damage in my lower back since 2005 and my doctor gave me a chewing today because my last month drug screen was negative :( Didn't understand that at all .....I take my pain meds as needed ....he accused me today of giving my meds away or selling them ...what a joke ! I have to go once a month per my doctor... ..sometimes I don't take a pain pill for a couple days or so and when I don't take them he pulls a pee test ......I tell him that nothing is going to show because I hadn't taken any to give my body a rest from the pain pills ..OMG ... instead of him saying good for you ...he accuses me of selling the foul things ....I have also had multi surgeries on my chest area and I need a pain pill ever so often! But he tries to force me to take 75 pills which is 3 a day which isn't enough to last 30 days I always have xtra ones left over anyways I just don't take them sometimes . And it takes about 2 days for your system to flush out the pain meds ....so that's why I was negative which that was a no no. it's a sad thing when someone dreads going to see their doctor when the doctor accuses you of something your not doing used to didn't b that way ...Good luck guys if you have a good doctor hang on to them. My doctor more concerned about the pain pills than he is me as a patient! I have been walking and lost 7 Pounds on my own ....no congrats from my doctor he was a real butt ! Just Remember guys and gals ....pain pills help but nothing like controlling your pain with self help ....I am learning to do that! God bless and Merry Christmas

I know exactly what you deal with cause I too suffer from a severe break that lead me to a spinal fusion with removal of broken crused spine and plastic piece installed. That surgery lead me to four others because of a pinched nerve in leg forever...I had RSD for life. Winter months are a living hell.

They're the same med.... it will show up in a drug test depending on how many days prior you took the med. however you were prescribed the very same med so no worries
