If you have a prescription for the patches, then there is no need to worry, you just need to inform them of this, when you go in for testing. There are only certain exceptions, where someone can be denied the use of these types of medications.
However, for a blood test, Fentanyl is usually only detectable for approximately 2 days, after last usage.

I hate you people that think you have the right to judge. Maybe rust is going for a job and finally decided to give the stright life a chance. I"m finding that 2 days seems to be the right answer. Surprisinglly to me, less then herion, pills and the other opiates!! (3-5). The time starts when you take the patch off. Your Golden!!! No 100 mg patch stays in urine for 3TO5 days after you take off I know this bc it was detected in my urine screening which ruined me drink no more than 64 ounces water right before you should drink that while u have patch on. I followed info from passyourdrugtest.com and it was wrong I called them three times to make sure and now I lost my dr I would give yourself six days or more to be sure depends on metabolism etc..trust me I know what Im talking abt it just happened to me today the cleanses on the website I just gave you are guaranteed to work they just got that info wrong I would call them to verify chart info and call back to speak to other person there and look up another website you dont want to screw yourself when it comes to this

I would like to reply in regards to the setting all questions and how long it stays in your urine and blood stream I have been a pain management patient for approximately 8 years I was on fentanyl 75 mcg for 7 years my doctor the patches were so bad and horrible causing irritation on my skin and so on finally my doctor agreed to change the medication to something more manageable I went in two weeks later received a urine test the fentynal still showed up in my urine I have no idea why Here I am 3 months later just had another screen done 2 days ago and AM freaking out that it's still going to be in my system even though the patch has not been on my skin since the day my doctor started me on the new medication why did it stay in my system so much longer then what is being said is it possible it could still be in my system 3 months later remember I was on this medication for 7 years I'm scared to death its still going to show up I don't know why

Because when u take off the patch you have to take rubbing alcohol pads and scrub where you put the patch on cause there is still residue stuck to the skin and it's hard to get off, but it will keep soaking through your skin from the The residue, soap does not work!! you must use an alcohol pad and clean the area proper. this way when you take it off you clean up everything that is soaked into the first couple of layers of skin. And it no longer travels through your blood stream. I have been on 100/mcg for 5 years and have learned all the tricks lol hope this helps

Ok here's my story, I've been a bus driver for bands for 36 years, not a sctatch, ticket wreck nothing at all. I have herniated and bulging disk in.my neck, so pain mngt. Put me on 5cg fent. 3 or 4 months ago. So now as of today actually according to our fine govt. I am no longer medically qualified to drive a commercial vehicle, so I've no choice but remove patch to pass drug screen, so I'm asking for clarification how long could I expect to wait before I can pass dot drug screen. I am 6ft tall weigh 175 poumds. This is insane because I function perfectly well even operating dangerous equipment, and have been taken other legit pain meds for years, and never even a scratch on anything. Anyway can any one please advise me on how long, and thank yoy in advance for tour time,

You'll probably get sick, get see imodium for the diarrea. And give yourself some light days if you've been on it a while. It's a horrible crippling flu. The worst part a few days. Residuals for weeks.

Hey rusty, if u have been on this for awhile DO NOT stop cold turkey!! I have been on 100mcg/hr for 10 years and due to insurance reasons I was without my meds and with no help from my doctor while I had to "wait it out". It turned me inside out! It was the worst pain of my life and terrifying!! I know this wasn't your question, but just a thought. Best wishes
