How Long Does 0.5mg Of Ativan Stay In Your System (Page 6)

I took 1 0.5mg pill of lorazapam (generic for ativan) on Sunday night at around 10pm and have a drug test Tuesday at 4pm, will I fail? I do not take any other drugs and only took this one pill one time for anxiety.

I wish you luck. I have a legal script for ativan. I have tremors. I do know and I am also a nurse........ that Ativan is in the Benzo family. The same family as Valium. What you took was a tiny dose. I realize that also. Its the same dose I take every day. From the chemical make up of this drug and from what most scientist report it normally stays in your body up to 30 days. However you have read from others it goes out before then. But you also see they have not come back to leave a comment either. It also depends on the drug test you are taking. Is it one your required to take when called like for probation? Or is it one for a job. They do have several different test. Some are a pee test, some are salavia, some are hair. The hair is the one that is the hardest to get around but that one can be done. Their is one now..... and I am sure you will not be put though it....... is fingernail. That one will tell them back months what the person has been up to. Now back to you if this is for employment it wont be a full panel one unless it involves money. I would not think. Hey, let us know how things work out. Not many times do we acutall hear back good or bad. So please share. I hope you get good news........ and I hope you wont have to take Ativan any more unless you have your own script.

Also can a urine test tell the time taken and or strength of the pill in your system?

I am on subutex and get drug tested every two weeks and I took 5mg of Ativan and I'm scared I'll fail my drug test which is 10 days after my dose of Ativan. it also was just a one time thing I hadn't had anything for almost 5 months. has anyone taken Ativan and had a drug test a week or so after and passed ?????

i've taken 5, 1mg of ativan and i have a drug test for probation this week sometimes and im just trying to see if it can get out fast enough but also. my drug screening will be panel 1 i think? with just marijuana, cocaine, opiates etc. i weigh around 120-30. please get back to me.

Yes it stays in your system for up to 7 days but it is not really a strong medication anyway so I highly do not think that it will be in your system by then , class 3 drugs stay in the system up to 14 days , drink ( as bad as it seems ) one 12 oz glass of viniger and two 16 oz glasses of water 24 hours in advance of the testing to be sure , that will remove anything toxic in your system

Honey I have no idea actually. I do know that Ativan is in the same category as Valium. Its in the Benzodine category. That is what it will show up as when they test if they are looking for that type of drug. Now from what I understand It can stay up to a month. Now my son's EX girlfriend is the one that told me that it can stay up to a month. Or that is what she told me after Social Services drug tested her and she swore it was almost a month ago when she took it. It was a heavy dose of it. I do know its in the same category however because I take Ativan. Something interesting however is the person that wrote about the vinegar. Scroll down and read it. Saying drink 12 oz of Vinegar and two glasses of water. Now I have no idea if that will work or not. I do know that allot of people trying to past test... will tell you to drink allot and I mean allot of water and try to sweat all you can every moment your awake before you take the test. More or less getting it out of your system. I do not know if it works or not. I have never had to pass a drug test that I have not had a script for. Good luck. And maybe try to get your own script honey. I am not judging..... I am really not. I don't know your situation for you to feel like you should have to take this med. I take it for tremors...... they call them beign tremors...meaning they have no idea what causes them and they do no harm to me....... they just make me look like I am withdrawing from something LOL. Used to bother me that people thought that but it seems I have had them for a long time. When telling people I knew about this they said " I always wondered why you shook the way you did". They knew I never took drugs of any kind or drank to the point I had to have it. Its a thing like Kathrine Hepburn had. Hers however affected her voice. Mine does not. Only blood test can tell if you are taking the medication as directed per Dr order , the exact amount will show how much is in your blood count , the use of a over the counter herbal medicine called Golden Seal will remove the drug completely from your urine and blood test if that is what they are searching for , this Golden Seal removes everything else you may take as well ! Can be found rather in expensive at Walmart in the herbal department. Sense it is a extract capsule, take as directed at least 48 hrs prior to any type of test as well

Took 1mg of ativan around 1pm on Friday then took a pre employment drug test Monday at noon. It is Tuesday and just got my results in. Passed it n 3 days. Don't take it a lot so 3 days for me.

My mother does the same exact thing u do. I just took it because i was having a really bad day,my husband has been going through alot and its not good at all. I normally just do my subxone strips that my doctor prescribes me. Ive been drinking alot of water and the vinger thing does work I've tried it. Thank you for comment. Gratefully accepted

They give Ativan as a withdrawal helper at hospitals, so I can't see how it would be bad with alcohol. I mean don't take it intentionally, but as something to help with your withdrawals I'd say you'll be alright.

I took 7 maybe 10mg of ativan Sunday night around 10:30pm then i took 5 and a half percocets Monday around 4-4:30pm and found out that they called my color for a U/A scheduled for Wednesday AM not long after the percs.... i panicked & s*** myself for an hr or two then came across this post... i started pounding water immediately. Prolly a lil over a gallon monday night b4 bed & then made myself have nothing but liquids (mainly water & tea) from that point on. I made sure that i was awake 2hrs b4 the test & urinated like 5 or 6 times. Then followed that with another 2 quarts of water & carried green tea with me to sip on. Im relieved to say that i passed it. I was sweatin balls big time while he was dippin it & almost blurted out my wrong doings. I literally almost fell over when i saw him dump it and say good job we'll see you next time.... lesson learned big time. No high is worth the pain (literal, thought i ruptured my bladder) and most of all its not worth the worry & stress facing down jail time (esp when ive only got 3 more months of this s*** left prolly 1 or 2 urine tests tops) thank all of you for your posts & tips... this thread really saved my ass & woke me the f*** up. Lol... good luck to yall who come after me. Take care & remember its not worth it, there is plenty of time after we're all done with this s*** to continue f***ing up if we haven't learned our lessons by now. Thanks again.

He's right... That 6 weeks is not true at all. But I'm a 33 year old male. Healthy. 5 foot 6 140 pounds. And I took an Ativan Sunday night. And tested negative Wednesday morning. What you really want to not take is valume. That hangs out in your system for a long time...
