What type of test? Was it a blood or urine test?

Some forms of liver disease/damage can throw some test off, so that might be it, since hepatitis can affect your liver.

I have Hepatitis C and I haven't been on drugs now for over 2 months, I am currently at the methadone clinic, scence I've been there I have no appetite, I only eat Kit-Kats and drink hot Cocoa like all day, every day. Now I still currently am getting Dirty urines at the clinic its still says I have opiates in my system. why is this? and how do I get information about this to give to my family and my dhhs case manager? all these people think now that I have been lying about not doing drugs, and now are thinking I've been doing them. because of the dirty urines what can I do? I'm going to loose my kids and they are everything to me I've done a complete turn around for my kids and now with this its all going to get shut down! please someone help me with some information?!?!?

Methadone comes up as an opiate. that's why you're failing. if they know you're in a methadone program, they would know why you are testing positive for opiates and it wouldn't count as a fail.

I came up positive for opiates I have been clean for a month and two weeks.I have used heroin for a whole year before that.I am taking medications for my two hrynied disc which 5-325mil of oxycodone.And I have hepetis C .Why am coming up positive for opiates? Please respond back,

I recently tested positive for cocaine. I have hepatitis C and reflex sympathetic dystrophy. I take up to 45 mg of morphine. I take trazodone 200 mg and I take mirtazapine 45 mg a day. I also have a formula that has cocaine hydrochloride in it. would that be the reason why I tested positive? I got the cocaine hydrochloride about six years ago. I don't take it all the time but when the lidocaine that I put on my foot stops working I spring my foot with this cocaine hydrochloride. I no longer have a prescription for any. help in this matter would be greatly appreciated

Methadone is NOT an opiate. It's a synthetic opioid not derived from morphine or codeine so it is without a doubt not the reason your failing for opiates . I know because I've been through it all before .

Tramadol is a highly addictive narcotic and will throw off a drug test. My husband was seriously addicted to it for five years. He now has serious medical and mental issues because of it. If you are a recovering addict I would seriously consider using tramadol everyone is different but it messed him up very bad.

I have Hep C with really high levels. I've been clean for 104 days and I'm on Vivitrol. I got a dirty drug panel result for methadone and I didn't use any. They retested it and said it was a tiny amount and that I need to be careful drinking off people's drinks and not using other people's vapes. What could be the cause of this?

Same thing as me, I just tested positive for cocaine and the last time I did it was 6 weeks ago. My dcf worker is gonna find out and take my son away when I really have been doing so well! I have hep c and I know that's the reason. Did u ever find out what to do? I need advice.

I am also on methadone and have been clean for over five years. I also have the antibodies of hep c. I am randomly tested at my clinic and for the last month my tests have been coming back positive for cocaine use and I am currently fighting for custody of my two baby's and my sobriety is very much important to me and my family, but due to my last two tests coming back for cocaine I am on the verge of loosing all i've worked for. I am not using and this cannot be possible. i've done all the research I could on false positives and why it could be and I can't seem to find any types of explanations for this. I need anyone's help in finding out how i can prove that I ain't using cocaine. Any advice on how I can find out why this is happening would be helpful. Please help. Thank u.
