Hello, Lynn! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you've had, such medications can be very hard to stop.

Have you consult your doctor for stopping the Suboxone? A very slow taper is usually best and it may take quite awhile, but it does help many people to become completely drug free.

The withdrawal effects you experienced are normal and others listed by the FDA may include nausea, diarrhea, fever and chills.

Does anyone that's taking it have any advice they can offer?

How are you doing now....I have been off sub now for 8 weeks. I felt bad for about 6 weeks. I thought it would never end, but I am back and back to me. Clear headed, no side effects and loving things again I had no desire to do while on subs. I lost most of my muscle tone while on it, lost my personality, my likes, motivation, everything. My life is now coming together just two weeks of feeling good. My confidence is sky high and have reassessed my whole life. I will never go through that time of hell again. Lesson learned for abusing opiates and getting on subs. They help some people, but I was a walking zombie for a year.
