Help Me Identify This Medication Please

My husband came home with a medium size white round flat pill with the letter K printed on one side. Says that he was told that it was for spasms (cramps). Couldn't find it on Pill ID. It is suppose to be from Mexico. What is it?

Hello, Rosemary! How are you?

Unfortunately, the operative word here is Mexico, they don't regulate their medications like the U.S. and Canada, so it can be difficult to identify them and they aren't listed in the U.S. pill identifiers.

So far, I've been unable to find anything, however, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you.

Does anyone else know what this tablet contains?

I got the exact same thing. Is it kind of chalky and scored in half down the back. All it has is a K imprint on the front. Not a K cut. I was told by my doctor in Mexico that it was 2mg klonopin. I'd love to know for sure what it is bc I can't find it anywhere on the net. It is a white, medium size round flat pill. Hopefully someone can help us with this.

Unfortunately we've had more then one patient recently present with benzo like abstinence syndrome (withdrawal). Although no tablets were available for testing, the description given matches this same off brand product that we believe lacks the presence of a true benzodiazepine class agent. Substantiating why these benzo. dependent patients suffered sudden withdrawals when their previous legit rx was discontinued and this Mexican purchased pharmaceutical was ingested. Thus a conclusion must be drawn that this lot contained no benzo. Please be cautious as this form of withdrawals can be fatal. Regards.
