Glycomet 850 Side Effects And Maxmimum Doses

from 1 tablet of glycomet, the dr.has prescribed now 2 tablets per day. Will it lead to side effects, if yes what side effects?

Glycomet contains the active ingredient Metformin, which is an oral antidiabetic medication.

And, as with any medication, there is always a risk of side effects, especially when you are switched to a higher dosage.

The side effects to this may include: nausea, drowsiness, flatulence and stomach pain.

Sourav Dad, as I said in my prior post, Glycomet contains the active ingredient Metformin, it is an oral antidiabetic medication.

This means that it is used to help lower and control blood sugar in people that have diabetes.


The side effects to this may include: nausea, drowsiness, flatulence and stomach pain.

I am adviced to take glycomet 850mg as i have bilateral polycistic overies syndrome. But after having this medicine i am continously having lose motion and puking aswell. Please advice.

MY 18 yr old daughter is having alopacic pattern of scalp hairs,early fatigue,acne, very few menstrual cycle since6yrs.her menarchae is at11yrs of age.her hormonal assay[fsh,l.h ratio,oesto.,progest.,testost, s.insulin]are within normal range.usg report immature multiple ova at periphry of ovary.she is a hosteller doing b.tech.doc give her glycomet sr850 b.d. 1].how long she has to take it? 2]does it ever cured ? 3]does metformin further reduces no.of ova by helping ovulation and it will further reduces her fertility once she got married? pls reply soon .
