Generic Norco M367 10/325 (Page 20)

Updated

It's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them?

As I said in an earlier post, my doctor prescribes Norco, generic Qualitest only. The pharmacist told me that is the best generic brand for any medication. I have found that to be true, so ask your doctor to put Qualitest brand only on the notes of the prescription. As far as medicaid goes, not sure what to say except maybe you could pay for them yourself. They are not as expensive in generic form and it is better than nothing. You may want to call medicaid and ask them what is going on. Hope this helps, folks.

medicare does not pay either. Even with drug coverage paid for. Even Soma they do not pay for either. Drug coverage is a rip off.

Yes, Anna. Just have the doctor write on the script that it should be Qualitest brand only. My pharmacist told me this when I received a differnt pill for pain from another pharmacy (white pill) and I happened to stop by our local pharmacy to ask him why the white one didn't work. He said to just remember to ask for Qualitest brand generic. Glad to help.

I asked for Qualitest from Walgreens and CVS and they said they do not order that.
Then when asking a few other pharmacies they did not want to say what they carry.

We are still being treating badly. CVS has only Mallinkroft. The pharmacist is very rude and I saw no difference in that one and Activis. What annoys me is Activis calls their brand Watson.

Malinkroft is a rip-off. Did absolutely nothing for me. If you have a Costco nearby, they carry a different brand than Qualitest, but it worked okay as an alternative to it. If your doctor writes Qualitest brand on the prescription, any pharmacy should be able to order it for you. I would try Costco first. Best of luck and gentle hugs.

Thank you. I never thought to use Costco. I will see what my doctor says when I go in.

They don't always have the 325-10 mostly the 325-7.5.

Check into doing mail order meds through Express Scripts. They give you a 90-day supply. Best of luck.

Yes. I find that the biggest culprit is advantist. It says Watson on pill but these people took over Watson. And it's not only the pain meds. Every drug made by them are garbage.

I also have to take 3 at one time for my back and knee will be having surgery on my knee in 2 months.

The yellow pill seemed to help my back pain so much more. I now take 2 of the white one to get the same relief. When my pain is really severe, even 2 white ones doesn't help! I have never taken over 2 at a time even tho it would probably help when the pain is severe.

Yes. Manufacturer Actavis. All of their meds are garbage. Not only the Norco. These people need to be investigated

I enourage all of you to get in touch with your Congressman and let them know what is going on. The FDA needs to be investigated and some semblance of normalcy needs to return. I am still able to get Qualitest (yellow pill) but my doctor writes on the prescription Qualitest only... no substitutions. Hope this helps.

@Veron, you are the type of people who make it so hard for people with real pain issues to obtain meds. You are only taking these drugs to feel high and mellow for the rest of the day. Get out of your mother's basement and get a friggin job.

Has anyone ever noticed pharmacies never make mistakes in your favor? Has anyone ever got more than the script called for? Whenever a pharmacist miscounts a narcotic script for me, it is always short. I have never had a miscount that was more than what my script called for. One time all I did was open the bottle and could see that I was wwwaaay short. The funniest thing though, I was supposed to get 60 and I got 34. 34? I don't think any script calls for that many. I high tailed back in there and made sure I got my 60. One time I got shorted by 5 when I was home after counting, I called the pharmacy and got a different pharmacist and explained to him that he probably wouldn't believe me but he did. I went back and got my shorted 5 and never saw the pharmacist that shorted me ever again. She must have had her hand in the cookie jar too many times.

These are the WORST NORCO on the Market!! The pharmaceutical company has done the worst job with their formula.. I changed pharmacies because of the M367.. Walgreens Carries Watson's which is like night & day compared to the M367.. just say'n.. I think they should be pulled lol.. The most ingredient in that pill is....CORN STARCH.. True Story!! It's insane!!!

No matter what you should always contact your Dr if a new brand of med is causing issues always let your Dr know because they would be the ones to state treatment failure /allergic reaction or anything like that and request the pharmacy to go back to last brand that worked and to be covered within your covarage. If you don't tell anyone there is no proof medically. So how can something be done
