Gavis Nardil

Sir/Madam
I been taking the original Nardil for over 35 years and did help me. In 2003 Pfizer reformulate it to genric, without telling to any one of the change, in short time i lost 50 lbs. Apparently 80.000 people experienced the same. Humanly and ligally Pfzer was wrong, furthermore Pfizer sold the crap formula to others companys. Now days its avaible in USA the Gavis Nardil manifactured by Novel Pharmaceutical, the Gavis Nardil its very close to the original Nardi and is been proven is working. >UNFORTUNATELY not avaible in Canada. My doctor as to ask permission to Health Canada in order to prescibe it to me and further more Gavis (distributor) as to concent that will send to me in Canada.
ERFA Ca. did buy the formula from Pfizer AND does not work.
I blame the Canada bureautic system and the American, plus the malifactor (criminal) action of Pfizer.
I hope some one can solve this incredible wrong doing

As to your issue, they would only be culpable of any wrong doing if they were taking an actual generic medication and passing it off as the name brand. They do have to let you know if something is a generic or not.

What you may have run into is just a switch, due to your insurance or pharmacy, from a name brand to a generic, which is normal and does happen, especially if your insurance company requires the switch to a cheaper option, when it becomes available.

And generics in the U.S. and Canada can differ from the name brands, I don't remember the precise Canadian figures if they are the same or not, but in the U.S. there can be a difference in the active ingredient by as much as plus or minus 20%. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window.

And for most medications, it doesn't make a difference, but there are some where the dosage has to be more precise or a person is more sensitive to it and the fluctuation can cause problems.

Attenction to VERWON
Because i dint know the change made by Pfizer Inc., because of the restriction of some food, like cheese and others............ when i did go back from the hospital i was wondering if maybe by mistake i did eat wrong food........... in my recollection i did not, thereafter i called my pharmacyst and i did ask if maybe was an old betch, he replay NO they just arrived. Usually i never did look to the pill cointainer, the name was not Nardil r BUT Phenelzine Sulphate..... I say to may selfe: WHAT IS THIS!?!?- I called back the pharmacy and i say YOU send me the wrong medicine, he replay no, that how its labelled now.
Soon after I called Pfizer and asked why you changed the label....... did you also changed the formula? The answer was yes....... why? The answer was: FOR THE BETTER........ I did replay to kill me? The lady replayed THAT WHAT I BEEN TOLD TO SAY.
I asked my doctor if he new about the change, he replay i am not aware of it. I did ask some others Psychiatrist, also the same answer.
a year later i got a CD where clearly inticate not trial test was done in the new formula (crap one).
Now VERWON tell me more about it, apparently you are an expert in medicinals> Your preamble does not convince me at all.
