Finding A Caring Doctor

I had two x-rays done by two different doctors here in Appleton WI, one said I have arthritis in my lower back, another one recently told me it is osteoarthritis. The pain is getting worse. But not one of these doctors prescribed pain medication. The 2 months of physical therapy ( the 1st doctor set me up with ) did NOT help at all, and after this last doctor telling me to do the same thing, I gave up, now hoping someone on here knows of a caring doctor here in the Fox Valley area. I would appreciate any help.

Sorry to hear about your run in with those "inexperienced" doctors. I may not have a caring doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in so far as finding pain management doctors within your general area.

I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients, as some aren't, but most usually are...

I am needing a pcp in Wayne County NY because of my Insurance. I am on 125mcg of Fentanyl every 48 hrs. and hydro for breakthrough. My Dr has been great and first Dr. that has actually cared to see that I am living with some comfort. I don't want to deal with finding another caring Dr. that isn't afraid of helping me. The one before this didn't want to give me my meds because she was scared of the FDA. I need a Dr. fast does anyone know of one in my County or a forum or someplace that will give me information about Dr.s in my area?
