Find Sz 198

Its taken so long to find out that I'm not crazy as everyone was suggesting. The distain and criticism from both pharmacist and Dr. that the difference in the Lorazapam was all in MY head. With all that I've been trough I deserve more respect than being treated like a "junkie". Thanks to all voices out there, its certainly helped me knowing I'm not the only that can tell there are big differences in all the manufactures and they all come with there own little side effects. But cant find any SZ198 Sandoz ANYWHERE in central CA. HELP!!!!!

Spoke with a rep at Sandoz after filling out a report online. They switched manufacturers and are now making it themselves as of a few months ago. The SZ 198 pill is definitely stronger seeming to me and was the reason in emailed them. To me it's way too strong to be normal Ativan. 1mg feels like 2mg with the same onset. You aren't nuts, as I'm here to confirm it! If you aren't being treated by another mfg's 1mg, then see your Dr about Xanax or increasing your Ativan dose.

Xanax is a WAAAAYYYY stronger benzodiazepine than Ativan. Ativan is fast acting but does not last long. Xanax is the strongest benzo. I would try Valium first. Everybody's body chemistry is obviously different, so things affect people differently obviously. However, if you think Ativan is strong Xanax will put you on your arse!!! Good luck. And I just realized this is from years ago.

Actually even though Xanax is the stronger of the benzos, it has a very short half life. It's about 4-6 hours but closer to the 4 and it's bioavailability is released like a pulse monitor, high peaks and quick drop offs. Clonopin gives you the best of both worlds, it's just as strong as xanax but has a 6-10 hour half life and it's bioavailability is much more level and tapers slowly. That's why if you ever have to get off benzos the best thing to do is a 30 day taper with pins, 2mg 2 or 3x a day for 5 days, depending on how much you're doing, then 2mg twice a day for 4 days, 1mg 3x day for 4 days, 1mg twice a day 5 days, 1/2mg 3x 4 days, 1/2mg twice for 5 days then 1/2mg for 3 and your off. No Seizures and no Death!
