Fill Oxycodone Prescription (Page 23)

Cannot fill them anywhere in Bradenton or Sarasota. Please help I have a real doctor and the pharmacy I have been going to the past year in my city says they will no longer fill out of county. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Bradenton or Sarasota that can help a patient fill qty 180 oxycodone 30mg? Please help. On the verge of getting deathly ill w/out meds! Thank you.

If your deadly i'll you need to tell your doctor to change your script , tell them , ms cotin or something ,they act like the dependcy is no big deal, the cure for pain is just as bad if with held from patient, was reading cold turkey woithdrawl can lead to death. so go get your self right and try to find alternative medication,or detox and live with pain, but not pain and worry.

Oxycodone is no where to be found, even with a legit prescription from a respected physician in mary Parts of Florida right now. I have a prescription for 120 tablets that after 5 days of searching; I have found no-where that has any medication to fill it with! ! If anyone knows where I can fill my prescription for 30 mg. tablets, I would be so very thankful! I believe the following could be part of the problem! On 9-12-2012, the DEA suspended two CVS stores in Sanford from doing business which the DEA described as a broader crackdown in Florida. NALAXONE will take away the point of taking the roxicodone. this is no solution at all but a really bad answer. You minus well take a different pain med altogether if you have to resort to compounding meds. Thats about the most ridiculous thing ive heard on this forum to even suggest doing that.

Why doesn't everyone get together and get an attorney
from one of these big firms that advertise on T.V. that if they don't get results you don't pay. I believe they are personal injury attorneys. Everyone needs to band together because there is strength in numbers and the squeaky wheel gets the oil. There are so many thousands of people who legitimatly need their medication that there is certainly a viable case to be made. Those idiots in Tallahassee are running rampant and destroying people's lives by denying the medication that enables them to lead a normal and productive life. They need to be hit with a class action suit. Why don't we band together and help each other achieve a common goal of getting the pain rlief we need and deserve.R

Bekka, bad news. I did try to get the "for the people" people but they said they don't deal with those kinds of "cases". I said but if I die from not having my meds they could and the person said YES.
We are pretty much on our own. Unless some politician or someone in their family is effected by this. Sucks.

Walgreens and CVS blaming DEA as if it's a DEA policy not to fill out of county RX....it's BS; I called the D.C. and Miami offices of the DEA and they said there is no such policy or law; it's the pharmacies that are scared of having their pharmacist's losing their licenses so they are making the legit people suffer for all the junkies that screwed it up for the rest of us legit peeps. No pharmacist should be able to pick and choose the winners and losers when it comes to getting Rx filled. I think a class action lawsuit is in order.....

Hospitals may be the answer... all major hospitals have pharmacies and are more likely to have in stock the Oxycodone. They are aware of the "shortage" and should be willing to help.
Also, if there is a Medicine Shoppe in your area... try them. I have been successful in the Orlando area with them after trying 18 others in a 2 day period.

I want those on this forum to be able to somehow get together and make our plight known to the media. We need national attention. In Fl contact Sen. Nelson 202-224-5274 or Sen. Rubio 202-24-3041. If we all call we can get their attention. Also contact your local reps in Fl House &* Senate. We need pressure on the DEA to lighten up so we legitamate patients can get our meds.

My understanding is that Florida lost one of it's largest suppliers for Pain-Meds (FDA pulled thier lic.) this is state wide, Doctors, or not many of them are not awear of this, you will need to go to your doc and change your meds

Everyone, you don't get it. No one in Florida will sue Florida. I have tried to get lawyers. Even large firms with hundreds of lawyers are to scared to oppose the government. You can find one that will sue AFTER you die from with drawl. If you can find one person that will sue on our behalf I'm sure everyone on here will sign up.

The small pharmacy I found here in Tampa could order oxycodone, but he said he cant afford it now (are the drug company price gouging?) But he recommended opana they have I.r. & e.r. he ordered that for me, 1 or 2 days to get it. My insurance said no coverage for the e.r. so gotta go back to Dr. For that. Not sure if opana will work as well as oxy 30, my Dr. & pharmacists said it was the closest to it. On morphine now n I hate it. Can't stay awake, n feel stoned along with the always fun constipation :( I really like this pharmacy though. If u r in Tampa & want the name let me know

my husband cannot get his oxycodone or dilaudid filled in ft myers. have driven around for 2 days. he has cancer and just out of hospital. im trying to work and support us but spending all of this time just trying to find anywhere that will fill his prescriptions and no one will or even order them. please help, we are in ft myers but will drive wherever we need to go. he needs the medication really bad

i tried cigna mail order. there is now a new law that Florida will no longer allow Oxycodone or Oxycontin to besent throught the mail. True. New law. Nothing from any mail order

no offense but have you been living in a Cave? The majority of us cannot get our scripts filled for oxycodone. I broke my back my neck and my nose in a car accident.Woke up 3 months later only to find my life will never be the same. so many new laws have been past for florida I spend about 6 hours every day trying to get my medicine. They treat you like a drug addict not knowing at ALL that my pain level is always at a 9. but they wont give me me pain medicine because the pharmacists are on a power trip with all the power over who suffers and who gets releive
