To anyone who has taken the Itravil how much weight did you lose, when/how many did you take each day, and what side effects did you experience. I have switched from Acxion to this, took my first this morning and I would like feedback please.

I just wanted to tell everyone that a girl from the RGV died from this pill you can buy in Progresso, Mexico..She died of a heart attack , I researched the pill and found that the FDA banned the acxion 30mg Fentermina (IFA) pill here because of the increase in Cardiac attacks..My friend and some family members were taking this pill however I just found out today and told them to STOP immedately..it just ain't worth it. The pill must not be the same as the one prescribed by Doc's in the US so please do not take this pill..The girl that died had been on them for a few months it didn't happen right away...Please think twice about taking this pill! I started out taking around 12.5 mg for a few days, then around 18.75 mg for a few days, then around 30 mg for a few days, then I was doing the 37.5 mg per day (average). After about a month, I upped it to the current dosage of 45 mg per day. That's just because it's easier to take 1.5 pills per day than to alternate my dosage.

As I mentioned, I have had NO side effects except for the dry mouth in the beginning. I feel normal. I don't feel jittery, I don't get sick, I don't get tired, etc. I'm not sure what people are doing on here to make them feel weird.

I have missed a day here and there... and I feel I could stop taking them and it wouldn't bother me. I'm not addicted to them, if that's what you were asking. I feel absolutely normal. And so does my husband.

If you see my original post, we started taking the pills around August 1st (that's when we bought them) and my weight today is 136. That's 28 pounds. My husband is about the same...he's lost 37 pounds in the same time period.

We keep hoping to start going to the gym because we know that will help lose more weight faster...we just have been too busy and haven't gotten a chance to.

So you started off on that high of a dose? How long you been taking this dose? I take 30 mg a day in the morning and I sometimes feel like I cant function right. I stopped for three days and then went back on to see if the back pain I had subsided, and it did. So aside from the dry mouth side effect did you get any other side effects? I am losing weight. It a total of 15 lbs in about 3.5 weeks, but I am eating healthy and working out. Im considering that weight loss is not as important as feeling normal. Each day is different with these pills for me for some reason. LOL my boyfriends mother gets her stash and shares with me from Mexico. Do you feel normal now? Do you think you could stop taking these pills and feel normal then too? I just dont want to hurt my body, I also heard that phentermine up's your liver count which can hurt you long term because of the elavated blood pressure. Any suggestions?

I bought these pills in Progreso on August 1st. My husband and I started taking them and have seen tremendous success. I'm reading what you are saying, but here's what we did:

When you get these pills in the US from a doctor, he gives you 37.5 mg. The pills in Mexico (acxion fentermina) are 30 mg. Because of that, we figured that you need 1.25 pills of the Acxion to equal one of the US pills.

We started out taking 1.5 one day and 1 the next, as it's hard to cut these into fourths. My husband started just doing 1.5 per day because it was easier and he was losing weight faster than me. So I upped it to 1.5 pills per day.

He's gone from 217 lb to 180 lb. I've gone from 164 lb to 136 lb. We have NOT gone to the gym. We try to eat healthy, but tend to eat pizza, pasta, fried foods, etc.

Also, we both take our dosage every morning as soon as we get up. It lasts all day.

In the beginning, we experienced dry mouth very badly. But that has gone away. Neither of us have had any other side effects.

Anyway, this is the first I've heard of a time limit for taking the pills. We were planning on taking them until we got down to our desired weight (120'ish for me, 170'ish for hubby). Where did you find restrictions on the length of time we take it for?

pouf, I took the half this morning and by lunch 12 or so, I was not hungry but I felt super thirsty and really wired, I guess because I needed to eat. I had a grilled chicken salad for lunch...more like half of one and now about 1 hour and 30 mins. later i feel so much better. A little excited or hyper but a seem to be alot nicer to the people around me unlike this morning! Ha!

From what I know, these pills can only be purchased at the border of Progresso Mex. I tried in Cancun, laredo, Reynosa but u need a prescription. I will travel to Progresso tomorrow which is where I bought them the first time in May. I lost 25 pound and still managed to keep it off. The pills do work but you also must exercise and eat healthy..Make sure u eat bc these pills really kill you appetite. Very crucial to drink lots and lots of WATER. I'm not a doctor but I hear these pills will mess up your liver. Good luck Mexicali border lady

well that sucks, what if you try another dr. just as a new patient, would that work, where are you from? Are you located in a border town? So how much did you loose the last time you took these pills, I have not lost any yet but because I am taking halves only I am scared to take the full one.

Hi Yoli, thank you for you quick response. I tried this pills more than a year ago, when my doctor game an rx for 3 months. The bad thing is that I have HMO and now that doctor is not my provider.

Hi Marylou, I purchased those pills in Progresso Mexico, for about 30 dollars but I was told that you can go to your dr. in the U.S. and he can prescribe phentermine to you in the U.S. and if you have ins. it will cover the pills. I took half this morning and I feel a little jittery and not really myself.

I just wanted to follow up with everyone on my side effects. They are different everyday, but getting better. Lost 11 pounds in a week. I have had back pain too. I thought it was from doing squats at the gym! LOL. What do you think is the cause of that? I get the dry mouth more than anything, but lots of water helps. Can anyonr tell me what the Axcion is in the Fentermina? Also once I get to my weight loss goal, does the weight come back as easy as I lost it? That makes me a little nervous. I dont want to take these pills for more than a month.

YES THEIR ARE MANY SIDE EFFECTS LIKE HAVING DRY MOUTH MOOD SWINGS NERVOUSNESS AND THEY DO GO AWAY IN ABOUT THREE DAYS OR SO AND U SHOULD TAKE IT BETWEEN 11-2 AFTER BREAKFAST AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER,,,,,, AND TO THE GUY ABOUT THE BACK PAIN IT IF UR HAVING THAT MUCH PAIN FROM TAKEN THE PILL THEN U NEED TO ASK YOUR DOCTOR CUZ AXCION DOES HAVE DIFFERENT EFFECTS ON PEOPLES BODIES AND SOME HAVE COMPLAINED OF HAVING LOWER BACK PAINS WHILE TAKING IT.. Hello Chuym..thanks for your response...about the lower back pain. My back pains are excruciating though, and is concentrated in my kidney area. I'm drinking lots of water constantly and yet still the pain persit. Someone out there must have some clinical explanation for this, or some temporary relief please help! ..... Apart from the back pain i love this pill, i have energy to move and i don't fell hungry at all.

ive taken axcion and in the first week i lost 13 pounds but of course i would drink like 3 liters of water per day and they worked great i only took them for about 3 weeks and lost about 25 pounds i felt great!!..........and to blueroses i am getting back pain also but this is the first time that i get it....well good to all......
