Yesterday I used a 100 mcg. Fentanyl, today I took it off. How long will it show on a toxicoligy report? ## How long will 100mcg. of Fentanyl show up in my urine and blood? ## Fentanyl will not show up in drugs screening as it is a synthetic opiod Dont stress ## According to reputable toxocoligist it wont show itself as an opiod good luck ## I can show up, if a test is used that specifically tests for it, however, regular drug panels do not look for this. On the tests that do look for it, it is detectable in urine for approximately 5 days, after using it. There is, however, no precise time frame, because it can vary, depending on various individuating factors, such as your metabolism, overall health, activity levels and etc. Are there any other questions or comments?

I just got off the Fentanyl patches last week and it's been over a month since I have had Vicodin but I notice since the patches stopped that I'm sneezing ALL the time? I'm not feeling sick so I'm wondering if this is a withdrawal symptom or not? If anyone can let me know I would appreciate it:). ## It's a withdrawa sympton ## @Lucytuesday, any idea on how long they will last? Thanks for the response:) ## Wat r u taking right now? sneezing is the 1st sign of withdraw. Then nervous then sick stomach dierria feel like hell, like u have the flu ## You r ok if it's been over a week ## Hi, sorry to get back to the post so late. It will be a week tomorrow since my last 12mcg patch expired and the only thing I'm really feeling besides sneezing is a little lack of sl...

I have chronic back pain as well, and I have taken every opiate known to man. I was on 100mcgs of Fentanyl, Norcos, and Valium at the same time! What worked for me the best was getting off everything and taking anti-inflammatories. What happens is that your body and brain become addicted to the drugs and your brain sends out a false sense of pain to your body. Besides, the withdrawal symtoms (addicted or not) are WORSE THAN HEROIN! Trust me! I now have very low back pain through exercising and anti-inflammatories. FENTANYL WILL KILL YOU! STOP TAKING IT! ## Fentanyl is a very potent narcotic pain reliever and, while it can cause the problems you experienced, it doesn't do so to everyone that uses it. The same applies to other narcotics and most other medications. Your body does get u...

I was in a serious motor cycle accident 10 months ago and severly broke my leg very bad compound, steel rod, plates, the whole nine yards and broke two vertebrea in my back one crushed on 90% broke. Waiting for spinal fuse surgery. started off with oxycodone then oxycodone and oxycontin then finally up to2 x 80 mb oxycontin and all the 10 mg oxycodone i could take, it just didnt work anymore. So my doctor put me on fentanyl 2 -3 patches every 3 days. i am going to see a pain specialist in a few days. The Fentanyl work OK but the he still give me that stupid oxycodone ir for breakthrough, i could take 10 of those at a time and will do nothing. What should I ask my pain specialist for. I just started a new job in a new city and have to keep working, I have3 kids putting through university...

Can fentanyl be administered to pts with a possible dilaudid sensitivity safely? ## This is definitely something that needs to be addressed with your doctor. There are a number of potential factors unique to each individual's health (that only your doctor or medical advisor would know), which could determine the safety of administering a drug with possible contradicting properties to your sensitivity.

is butrol pain patches the same as fentanyl? ## I'm sorry, but this site doesn't have any information on this. I can't find anything listed under this name or anything similar that is a patch and/or for pain. Can you double check the name and spelling? What country it is from?

I was givin a hair drug test to go back to work and was told I had hydrocodone and cocaine in my system a very high level of cocaine at that. I never used any street drugs in my life could being under this kind of anethesia have this kind of outcome in a hair drug screen. I had knee repair surgery by the way ## That's not good, I don't know. I would be talking to my Dr. and if it can, I would think he could give you a letter to that effect. That is not a good thing to have hanging on your file no matter where you work. The hair drug test is very accurate, I have been on Fentynal for over 5 years and have never been told that it could make me test positive for those types of drugs. Interested to hear from someone who knows.HZ ## Well, first of all, Norco contains Hydrocodone and A...

I am in dire straits. I suffer extreme pain from endometriosis (pelvic pain) and from extensive joint disease. I have problems with tolerating oral medications due to gastric issues. Is there something strong for pain that is delivered transdermally? If not, perhaps suggest meds that don't produce gastric problems. I'm eager to receive legitimate information, please. ## One strong pain medication which is delivered transdermally (via patch) is Fentanyl. If you have liver disease, however, it might not be a viable option. Based on your medical history, has your doctor given any thought into this treatment option? ## It's a long, sad story that trumps fiction any day...beginning with gastric bypass in 1987, followed by 3 major female surgeries 1992-1994 for stage 4 endometrios...

My problem is I was hurt in a snowboarding accident. Since then I have suffered chronic pain. After a year on State disability they ended it. The federal government decided that I wasn't disabled. I use to earn over $100,000/yr. The federal goverment says if you can earn $900/mo that is substanial work. My problem is that I am trying to find a job but everybody drug tests. And of course my drugs show up. Does anybody know about drug testing laws? ## Are you referring to prescription drugs legally prescribed by your doctor? If so, then it will not matter what shows up on the test, as long as you are legally taking them. Some places will ask you ahead of time what you are taking, so you should always take a list with you, just in case. Some drugs, such as narcotics or Benzodiazepines ...

W/D symptoms of Fenanyl can last for weeks. Are you having a problem with keeping them on, have they been falling off, is that why you are running short. There are bio-oclusive bandages named Tegaderm or Opsite you can place over the patch that will keep it on. I have never heard of a 2mg patch. Are you sure? They come in 25mcg,50mcg,75mcg,12.5mcg and 100mcg. This amounts are released per hour so I gues...

My grandmother is 86 years old and suffering from intestinal cancer. What pain killer shall we give to alleviate her suffering? ## What is safe for her to use depends on her current treatments and whatever other medications she is on, so no one here can safely say what you should give her, since this site doesn't have this information. There are quite a few options on the market, one of the strongest, that is often used for cancer patients is the Fentanyl patch, because it is 80 times stronger than Morphine and it is time released, so one patch lasts for 3 days. You can learn more about it here: Have you asked her doctor about what she can use for the pain?

where can one purchase these 50 mcg patches of fentanyl with a rx for cheap? ## Because I do not have drug coverage, I need to find a pharmacy who carries fentanyl 50 mcg. naturally with a prescription. Thank you ## That's really going to depend on where you are located. The price can vary from pharmacy to pharmacy. Most online pharmacies will not provide it, even with a prescription, due to the fact that they would have to send it to you and this creates a very high risk of theft and diversion. Where are you located? This information will help you get more answers.

Baby born with many problems and hospital has induced a coma state with fentanyl. What other complications ca occur besides dependence? And is the addiction forever to the child? ## While it is generally safe, under a controlled medical setting, there is a rare chance that some complications can occur, such as permanent damage to the liver or kidneys. And no, the addiction would not be a permanent condition and the doctors will be able to taper the medication to prevent the worst of any possible withdrawal symptoms.

will fentanyl show up the same as oxcodone in a pee test ## If it is just the basic test that looks for the presence of opiates, then yes, they would both register the same. However, as I said, that would be for the basic test. If you are being tested by a pain management doctor or by a place that does the more extensive tests, then they may look for the metabolites of specific drugs, which will enable them to tell the difference. Which one are you supposed to be taking?

I am taking fentanyl 100mg for chronic pain. It is working great for pain, but I am having severe nausea. How to solve problem? ## Fentanyl is a very potent narcotic pain medication, therefore nausea is a common side effect, along with drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. this site is not medical professionals and since this site does not know your medical history and any other medications you are taking, we cannot possibly suggest anything. Have you spoken to your doctor about what is safe for you to use?

I've been on a 25mcg and 12mcg Fentanyl patch now for about 6 mos. I change them every 48 hours. I get 15 of each per month. Lately I've not been getting the pain relief I did in the beginning. I would like to titrate up to the 50mcg patch. I think that would make a big difference, but I don't want my pain dr. to think I'm abusing it. Is is too soon to move to a higher dose? I mean is there a general time period for titrating up? Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks. ## I was started on the 25mcg change every 72hrs., my doc. took me up to the 50 mcg every 72 hrs in 2 months, said the 25 was just a starter. I am on the 75mcg every 72 hrs plus hydro's for break thru pain now. I will be going up again soon, my pain doc. says your body adjusts to it after time. I ...
