False Positive For Methamphetamine On Drug Test (Page 7)

I took a urine drug test for my job and they said it came back positive for methamphetamine, but I dont use methamphetamine. I've just been real sick the whole week before and took a lot of diff. meds to break da fevers and my bad cough. What could have caused it to come up positive?

Hi there, i was tested on Monday, a standard Clicks brand Urine test and tested positive for methamphetamine and thc, I'm baffeled, i use diannabol blue heart, 2 different brand's of testosterone and 2 types of creatine, with a good multi vitamin. Please help me if you can. I have to use this research for my appeal for a work hearing dismissal.

As far As I know Morphine sulfate is basically the closest thing you can get to $treet heroin. That's why you tested positive you poor soul. I would have your doctirs or a pharmacist write a letter to whomever it needs to be addressed with and get it taken care of ASAP! I'm so sorry!!

I got a false positive for Methamphetamine after being in the hospital for weeks. Was told I have tumors in my pancreas that need to be removed. Long story short I'm 40 yrs old, doctors told my parents without consent. I'm homeless and parents are suing for custody of my 6 yr old daughter...... Somebody help!

You need to get an attorney. You legally have the right to obtain a copy of your findings AND the absolutely cannot refuse you. It's weird you tested positive for THC but not for opiates. Hugs. I'm sorry you're dealing with this BS. I know attorney are expensive but it's your reputation and career. You also have the right to a retest with detailed finding (the gaschromatograph) because the testing company is required by law to keep them for x amount of time, typically 6 months for urine. Not sure what hair is. I'm not sure, but part of me also wants to say they are violating HIPAA by refusing to release your records to you because technically it is a medical record. Call your local employment services. They should give you the correct number to contact to file a formal complaint against your employer for what they are doing. It's going to be exhausting but keep fighting. You will win this. You may even be able to get an attorney for free or at an affordable amount. You may have to play phone tag a thousand times to get the right people but eventually you will get there. Even in a right to work state, what they are doing is illegal in many ways. File for unemployment. Write everything you were told, who you talked to, and what happened on your ap in the area. Details will be your friend. You may have to appeal, but again, even in a right to work state, they will say you did not intentionally do anything to get fired. Keep appealing if you have to but at the most it should only take you taking with the caseworker. I wish I could give you my contact info in case you need more help.

My husband recently took a drug urine test for pre-employment making him not get the job and the results came back positive for methamphetamine. He's 100% not on methamphetamine. So with a false positive (from Quest) is he able to sue for the FP?

I've just been discharged from the salvation army cause they dont give us anything but ibu. I've been sick and throwing up for the past few days and cant hold food down so i took some nyquil at home and tested positive for methamphetamine and pcp. I've gone over a hundred days sober so i know im not dirty.

What would cause a false positive for methamphetamines? I take Vyvanse, Zoloft, UTI meds, Albuterol, and steroids.

I'm in court ordered treatment and I tested positive for methamphetamine and I have not touched the stuff in over 2 months. When it's sent to the lab will they be able to determine what it is?

Yes I took a Sudafed and Zyrtec and also told the Dr in may it hurts to urinate and it still does but no test was ran or blood work as well for 1.4 years. He also kept WRITING the scripts until other day and I am just confused because I've been on them for 15 plus years. Can he do that cold turkey? If I ask for help to get off them he ignores me. He has not made any specialist appts. I have DA and Fibromyalgia and lumber nerve disorder and I need to know. I need a good attorney and he is SEXUALLY ASSAULTING me and then he said all this at one time after I refused him on SEXUAL encounters.

I went to my Dr, had a UA and he never ever told me about my lab results for 9 months, total 3 done. OK in a 24 month period only after I refused to have sex with him and his wife. Now all sudden I show positive for methamphetamine. I do not use. I have a son I have to raise. I am not about to ruin my world. Anyways he accused me and said I was a "meth head" & crack head etc in front of my 15 year old son.

#1 is that legal to accuse?
#2 does he need to ask me to have my son leave the room?
#3 sexual harassment and assault - he also grabbed me in front of him and spoke bad - we recorded it.
#4 is a PM Physician legally allowed to let you smoke marijuana? he told me to take it to help my pain since the man or sexual harassment thing did not give me my meds which I am saying OK, 16 years I am tired of taking all 9 scripts.
#5 UA cups - are they suppose to have all unsealed cups with names already wrote and do you have to sign to be sent off?
#6 and malpractice - since he never made an appt. for or referral for anything that needs to be done
#7 and does he have the right to not write the med? I have fibromyalgia DA MS and lupus. Pain does not discriminate, I know too well. #8 and he told me to call Friday for results - are you allowed to tell this information over the phone?

I'm on probation and they just gave me a drug test. They called me in to tell me that I tested positive for methamphetamine. Not only do I not use methamphetamine, I've never seen methamphetamine before. I'm on probation for reckless driving. I take Lyrica three times a day and ranitidine 150mg once a day. Could this be the reason I am getting a false positive?
