Financial Assitance For Drug Rehab

MY SON NEEDS HELP GETTING OFF OF OXY'S AND DOESN'T HAVE THE FINANCIAL MEANS TO GET HELP. IS THERE ANY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HELP PEOPLE GET OFF DRUGS?

I'm not sure if there is a drug company sponsored program for the Oxys. The only cessation drugs programs that I know of are for smoking (Chantix) and for opiate addition (Suboxone). I would recommend going to http:/­/­www.oxyaddiction.com/­index.htm as they do have a toll free help line. 1.866.535.7921
I would also recommend http:/­/­www.na.org/­ -- you should be able to find people in your local area that will know more about what is available close to home. I'm so sorry to hear of your son's Oxy problems. I'm sure it's been hard on him and difficult for your family as well. I wish you all the best and hope that I have helped you in some small way.

I also received some information from a fellow who had been in the same situation. He tapered off the medication slowly and ate a lot of brown rice and oatmeal and drank a lot of distilled water. He also stressed the importance of setting goals and seeking support because it will not be easy.
