I NEED 4 ECOTIN A DAY. ANY DANGER WITH THAT ? ## I am taking ecotrin and Simvastatin (40) but am well. When is the best time to take these tablets? I am taking both tablets with a glass of water at about 19.30 hours, before an evening meal. Is this OK? Can I take the Ecotrin first thing in the morning? ## Ecotrin contains the active ingredient Aspirin, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, swelling, for heart health, and blood thinning. Long term use of high doses may cause stomach ulceration, gastric bleeding, and increased risk of bleeding. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation. Jim, there is no real special time for taking them, unless your doctor has specified otherwise, you can take them whenever it is c...

Hi there. I just want to know if it's safe to take topzole 40 with (statin) storwin 10mg and ecotrin as well as puricos 300mg (for gout)? I have been feeling much weakness from my hips to my legs as well as dizziness. I am 43 years old. ## Have they all been prescribed for you? Puricos contains Allopurinol, it is most commonly used to treat gout and kidney stones, Topzole contains Pantoprazole and it is used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach, Ecotrin contains Aspirin and is frequently used to heart health and blood thinning, Storwin contains Rosuvastatin and is used to help lower cholesterol. The only interaction I found listed is that the Pantoprazole may lower how much of the Aspirin that is absorbed. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly inclu...

I am on storwin together with cardicor, ecotrin and 1/2 lisindopril. Besides these i take eltroxin, omega., vit C ! calcium., talomil and vit B , my doctor suggested alternate nights on storwin with enzyme Q10 on other night. My cardiologist says my aching legs day and night are "all in the mind". I find this unacceptable and he also suggested that i go off storwin for a month and see if it makes a difference. So i am very confused and not happy to be in pain like this

My pharmacist keeps changing between the meds mentioned above. Why? And I see that citalopram is not heart friendly. I am also on cardicor, liso, storwin, ecotrin, 0.1mg of eltroxin, 1/2 zopigen at night, calcium, multivitamin and omega 6. ## Talomil is just a brand name for Citalopram, so there is actually no change. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. What type of heart condition do have you been diagnosed with?

I'm on heart medication (Inegy, Pritor, Cardicor, and Ecotrin) and am now suffering from terrible aching of all my joints. Could this be a side effect? ## It is possible, especially if you are becoming dehydrated, which can be a side effect of these medications, if you don't take in enough fluid each day, according to the NIH. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and hypotension. What heart condition do you have? Are these the only medications you take?

The swelling has gone down but the pain is still there. It feels like it is in the bone. I have been taking Movomo anti inflammatory. I am also taking ecotrin on a regular basis. someone mentioned that the ectotrin could be the cause of the discomfort. I was wondering I had perhaps picked up an infection in the tissues. ## Hello, Christine! How are you feeling? Has it improved, yet? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea and non-allergic skin rash. However, the m...

Good Day, i am suffering from a yeast infection please advise if any of the following tablets cause yeast infection Atolip Ecotrin Vectoryl plus Glucophage XR SRT Ciplavasc 5mg ## Hello, KC! How are you? If you are diabetic, that could be the reason right there. A sugar imbalance can cause them, because the yeast in your body feeds on it. It is very common for female diabetics to get them regularly. Most doctors just have them keep the medications around to treat them. Is there anything else I can help with?

I had a double heart valve replacement in 1999. As such I am a chronic warfarin patient. I recently had a hysterectomy followed by another emergency surgery the following day. I then recouperated at home. 3 weeks ago I had a stroke. The cardiologist said it was caused by the several surgeries and the neurologist prescribed ecotrin as he felt that warfarin was not enough any longer to protect my heart valves. Since taking ecotrin I have a constant head ache, my eyes are swollen all the times, I feel very tired, I feel depressed, I some evenings have stomach ache, initially I lost weight and suddenly I am picking up weight rapidly. I experience dizziness at times and my eyes feel as if something got stuck behind them. I used to run around 48 kilometres a week before the hysterectomy. I as...
