Dual Diagnosis Suboxone And Psych Meds

Anybody else on suboxone and a ton of meds for bipolar? I currently tak: suboxone 12mgs/day-lamictal 100 mgs/day - seroquel 100mgs/day - zoloft soo mgs/day -clonodine 2mcgs/day -Lyrica (for anxiety) 150 mgs/day -xanax 4mgs./day -dexadrine 30mgs/day.and now a water pill, due to Lyrica swelling....
I am so sick of it all....have been on 22 different meds in 1 1/2 years....
went into detox for opiate abuse.....did fine and went on suboxone but about 4 months later, went into total breakdown....completely suicidal...should have been hospitalized, but i adamantly refused after having been in patient for opiate addiction....
Nothing seems to be working....I only get moments of "ok"...never great....and if it is, I am told I am manic....
I just don't know how to go about this anymore....have had two pdocs and they both have done the same thing with meds. I have heard that bipolar may require this at times...but how does my brain know what to do , when one med says do this, and another says "so that'.....just at wits end.

Anybody else?

I am back again......
I realize, sorry-quite a few type-o's.

An update: I have now come off my zoloft, felt like it was doing nothing for me. I have been asking my pdoc for a year to give me back Prozac....but at the time he took me off it, I was in complete cycling (bipolar) and out of control.
Well, anyway, I decided to ask again, and he finally said ok.
Wouldn't you know....it is working awesome. And for once, feeling good....he does not say I am just manic.
He sees a complete changeover in me, as I feel it greatly myself. Even my family has noticed. (I don't even tell them anymore about my meds, they are so sick of it).....
But my message, I guess is this: WE MUST BE OUR OWN ADVOCATE, WHEN IT COMES TO OUR WELL BEING....NO BODY KNOWS, BETTER THAN OURSELFVES, WHAT IT FEELS LIKE INSIDE US.
I have learned a great deal about medications this past two years and have really learned how each med works.....sometimes, we MAY know better than the Doc , as to what makes us feel better. Now I am not saying, to medicate yourself-you must work with your doctor on this....but DO speak up if your instrincts are telling you something.
this is a long hard road, getting all my meds right.

Once again, anyone else struggling with lots of meds and not getting it right yet?

I am bipolar,too.My Dr.has me on Prozac 20ml.,serequel20 ml. at bed time and something else called buspirone 10mg.sorry,the ml up above are suppose to be mg. But anyway....what she has me on is working wonderfully!Which I find completely amazing because I've been on every medication known to man,and usually all at the same time and all that did was cause more problems.I also caused my own problems by being addicted to drugs, so I'd get high and mess my medication schedule up.Plus the meds couldn't do their job with me being an active drug addict and full blown lush.I am proud to say that I've been sober f/6 months now.My meds are working cuz I'm finally allowing them to work.Good luck to you and God bless you,misti
