I went to a doctor for acne she prescribed doxytet are they really helping for a skin while I develop to much rash on my face....vomiting everytime I take doxytet and headache.

Yes, some acne is caused by bacteria and this antibiotic is often used to help treat it.

The nausea, can be a normal side effect, it should ease up in a few weeks, as your body gets used to the medication. You may also experience dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

If it doesn't ease up soon, then you may need to return to the doctor and try a different medication.
