What does Doxyxyclin HYC tab 100mg look like...should it be a salmon color with a MP 37 on it

Well first off, let me put an end to the argument by stating that once a drug is available for generic production, it can look like whatever the company making it wants it too look like. Yes, Kelly could have had an oblong blue, but that is not the only 100mg Doxycycline available.
In the pharmaceutical industry, there are no guidelines as to color or how a pill has to look, it just doesn't matter. So just because it may have the same active ingredients, it does not have to look the same, you may go into one pharmacy and receive a large orange pill and at a different pharmacy across town get an oblong blue one.
The only requirements in the US for a drug to be sold here legally as a prescription med, say that it MUST have a uniquely identifying imprint, even those imprints will vary according to dosage and manufacturer.
So that said, YES!
This pill marked MP 37 is indeed a 100mg Doxycycline tablet.

The name brands for this are Doxy and Vibramycin. When the pill is still under the name brand, proprietary patent, yes, they will always look the same as long as they are made by the same company.
But, as I said, once they are available for generic production, the color, shape, and size, are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer.
