Does suboxone show up in laboratory tests? It is urine that the lab tests so will it show up? Please give me an answer as soon as possible. It is really important!!! I'm desperate :(

It takes a special test to detect it. You should be good. It won't show up unless the ask for them to test for it specifically.my son is on parole.

I have to take a pre employment drug test. I have no idea what panel of testing will be ran. Your link was very helpful. Thank you. The organization I'm trying to secure a job with is union/ labor collective bargaining. I don't want to give my notice at current job till I know I've passed drug test.

There is definately white ones. They are called subutex. They just dont have the blocker in them like suboxone. And they are perscribed most often to pregnant woman with addiction problems

Hi Ash. Can you please tell me if Lake county Ohio adult probation tests for it and what panel they use? I've been sober for 2 years off of everything but due to my health getting worse everyday I was suggested to take a quarter of a sub for pain (because I'm scared to take opiates due to my past heroin/pill addiction). I have taking a quarter a day for a handful of weeks now and have been getting randomly screened lately. Now I have to go drop a urine sample again for the 3rd time in about 5 weeks. When I asked why, I was told they have a few concerns but won't tell me! Do you know how to get that amount out of your system by Thursday morning if the last quarter I took was last night? Please help! I've been trying to research this all morning but I'm getting nowhere. Thank you

If it is a 5 panel test for a job or any government job then i promise on my life that suboxone does not show. I have taken 3 pre employment test in the past year and the most recent was government. I have passed them all and even took a whole suboxone the days of the test. People that say it shows as an opiate are complete i****** and people saying they have failed 5 panels for opiates either actually had morphine or what not in there system or are a liar. So Everyone your answer is if its the plain jane 5 panel that all government jobs give and most jobs give then your good. If its a higher panel like a 12 then odds are your not good.. Even the 7 or 8 panels dont include bupe unless their custom made which none ever are. Be confident after reading this and get off the internet and do a little dance!

It should not show up. They would have to specifically test for it.it's a complete different test.

Sorry i thought i was replying to a comment way earlier on this thread. If you fail a test, they have to notify you correct? I took a test for a job but did not pay attention to the panel. All i know was they took 2 containers and sent them to a lab. I was confident since in the past tests came clear while on suboxone.(years ago) I have been on it for 7 years through a doctor. Before that i was a heroin user. Suboxone saved my life along with becoming a mother. After reading how things have changed I'm not so sure i passed. Do I have any rights in this situation? I was hired contingent on the drug test-however the job called today and said they found someone else. Someone has to notify me if i failed right? Do i have the right to see the results? I called the testing place and they said i do not have access to results. I should have taken a picture of the form i signed. I am in las vegas nv. Last week i had 2 job offers and i apparently picked the wrong one to pursue. So sad. I needed this job to pay for my child's preschool and pay down debt. I suppose this will be the kick I the ass I needed to get off it finally.

Can an employer not hire you based on a positive suboxone test? I take it legally for the past 7 years and have been drug tested in the past without ever coming up positive for drugs of abuse but now they are including suboxone in the pre-employment screening. I do not abuse it. I take as prescribed.

I am currently taking subutex as I have a rx,well this month I ran short and took a suboxone strip,will that affect my drug test in anyway,I go back to the dr in 3 days? I'm only worried about the naloxone,will it be a problem??? Please help!!

I'm on probation and about once a month I have to go to the court house to take a drug test I take about maybe 2mg a day I live in Florida does anybody knw if the test will test for suboxne I took my first test 2 days ago and haven't heard anything back

Okay so I go and see my probation officer tomorrow. I am perscribed to 2 meds for the 1st time this month which will show up as a benzo on my drug test I will get from my PO tomorrow. I have proof so that's okay, BUT, I have been taking half to 1 subs for a little less then a year. (once again, my PO is cool with that being it is a script on my name) But, knowing my urine will be sent to a lab due it being positive for benzo's will they test for subs as well ... and please condiser the fact I have been vlean from Hi I am on probation in Las Vegas and have a question -- I need an answer fast. It's pretty simple. Ok so I been off Suboxine now for 3 day as of today (Wednesday) and plan on not using any subs the day i see my PO the following day as well - I see my PO Tomorrow at 1pm-- So that will ALMOST be a full total of 4 days. Are they going to see this on the lab? Are they even going to check for Suboxine (Buprenorphine)? Considering I'm testing positive only for Benzo (Benzodiazepines)? What is this PO going to ask the lab to do??? I hope I can get a qiuck answer before I meet my PO at 1pm Tomorrow. Please help a gal out fast. I loosing time here.. Thanks you guys
