According to an article on FDA.gov, "Only qualified doctors with the necessary DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) identification number are able to start in-office treatment for Subutex/Suboxone and provide prescriptions for ongoing medication. CSAT (Center for Substance Abuse Treatment) will maintain a database to help patients locate qualified doctors."

You can browse through the CSAT's database of doctors here: buprenorphine.samhsa.gov/bwns_locator

It looks like there's quite a few options in the Phoenix area.

I know this is an old post but I know of at least 2 places that do prescribe subs, generally it will be suboxone not subutex, I was only granted subutex because I was on for pain not addiction. 1) Tempe Psychiatry Dr. Sosa will write for subs for opiate detox & keep you on them as needed. I was there prior to him & then the original Dr passed away. I go once a month @ $125 *initial visit is more ... also 2nd chance in Phoenix. Dr. Reedy does subs as well, but he is every 2 weeks & $160 per visit, more for the 1st. I hope this was helpful.

If you are talking about dr. Sosa-Roche then he has not passed away as of a week ago. His license was however, revoked, according to dr. Sosa himself. In addition to that, he didn't contact his patients. I found out by driving to his practice off of the 51 and bell, from Gilbert. So I am writing to find a new dr who will write for subutex (not suboxone) and if possible, accepts ahcccs (aka medicaid). Thanks!

So my daughter needs a doctor in the phx area that will treat her for suboxone. She is going to community bridges on her own and they treat her like she is court order, has come up 2x with xanax in her system and she takes nothing. Now the doctor is on vacation until the 13th and she lost. She's been staying with me. I have no xanax here so what do we do?

Aurora behavioral health facility at 63rd ave and peoria prescribes subutex. Thats where i went and they do either suboxone or subutex

How do yhu go about getting them like can I just go in n tell them that I need help getting clean n I heard they prescribe them or way please I need to get clean I have 3 kids who have NVR even met me n 1 thats only seen me 3 times n if I don't get sober by the 28th of February I could be looking at 15 yrs in prison
