Doctors In Michigan That Prescribe Methadone (Page 35)

I'm interested in finding a private doctor's office (not a clinic) that will prescribe methadone. I can't afford these clinics! Does anyone know of a doctor???

Dr. Muppuri at McClaren Pain Clinic in Flint or the University of Michigan Back and Pain Center at 325 E. Eisenhower Ann Arbor, MI. Both places are very good with great reputations. I hope this helps those in Michigan looking for help.

Methodone is not a good pain killer and once your on it you plan on being on it a long time its hard to get off from and you put on alot of weight . I've been in it for three years niw and working to get off from it. They brag about it but once your on it they don't want you to take you off. Their is a Dr lynz in grand ledge that will put you on the pill form and eureka better

Dr.Linz?? I live in Van Buren County 90 minute drive for me..but if he will take new patients and will prescribe anything for pain other than Norco...it's worth the drive

I've been on methadone for about 10 years and I can't go to the clinics and my doc got in trouble for giving it to everyone my issue is for chronic pain it's only thing that works it was ok at first but he would not give me a high enough dose DAILY to manage can someone give me this docs number and how much will he prescribe you cause 40mg day isn't close enough when I did go to clinic I was up to 170 and came down to 150 which was just right

Please help me with this Drs. Info, im going to bhg mthdne clinuc and im only on 80 mgs a day, i need a physician that will prescribe this to me instead of paying 400 dollars a month with an hour drive every morning, aún help will be appreciated.

Unfortunately most if not all doctors have decided to stop rxing this drug for pain control.Methadone for purposes of addiction treatment can only be provided by licensed clinics.The incidence of health complications and illicit diversion has caused regulatory agencies to apply great pressure on PHYSCIANS who once prescribed this drug for pain control.

Even doctors that one time prescribed methadone have begun transitioning patients to optional pain relievers that produce less side effects and produce far less habituation factors.All regional providers that are affiliated with our network now provides Tramadol for chronic pain relief.As a cpp I admitt this drug provides far less analgesia but the
DEA has made life unbearable for prescribers that chose to treat with stronger opiods/opiates. It's unfair to the legit cpp but not much you can do about this.

It's so sad to see the number of folks desperate for pain control or treatment with methadone. In 2017 Methadone as used for pain control is no longer a viable option so no one will refer you to a legit.medical provider that prescribes methadone for pain control any longer.As for treatment and maintence purposes only licensed clinics are permitted to dispense methadone. Hope that clears up any misunderstanding about the use of this controversial narcotic opiod.

Have any luck? In same boat/area. Was looking for moderate pain relief with longer half life...best results in my life have been low dose methadone and moderate dose oxycodone.

Hello, could you point me in the direction of the above post you mentioned might refer people to a DR that will at least possibly write scripts for LEGITIMATE health issues? I was on Tyl 3 and Tramadol and refused to be on anything stronger but my DR recently moved out of State and my new DR is only giving me 20 of each a month down from 120. It is just ridiculous and I dont have time for this as I have a family and a career that cant just stop because im in a lot of pain. Thank you.
