Doctors In Michigan That Prescribe Methadone (Page 28)

I'm interested in finding a private doctor's office (not a clinic) that will prescribe methadone. I can't afford these clinics! Does anyone know of a doctor???

Dr. Townsend? I am prescribed Xanax and adderall and I just moved to the upper peninsula and there are no doctors in this area taking any new patients and the only MD that is turned me down today naturally, saying "he didn't have the license to prescribe narcotics" I need to find help before my last prescription runs out, do you know of any internal med doctors with there own private office who can help me around this neck of the woods? im in munising and I really don't want to fly all the way back down to Florida every 28 days just to get my scripts, that would be crazy, I would appreciate your input, any and all would be helpful, thanks a bunch!

I need a dr in flint for methadone or suboxone. Trying to keep girlfriend off H, I have insurance but she doesn't. Can anyone reccamend somebody. I just tryin to keep her off that s*** and away from the dope man at the club. Please if you can point in right direction. Not sure how to work it out with her havin no insurance

That's odd I was a patient of Dr. Barber and he said he could not prescribe Methadone only Suboxone. I had no insurance and the price of Suboxone was out of the question. I ended up going through PACE and ended up at a clinic.

I have molina Medicaid who claims i can use my green card for sub treatment, but, i know that w prior auth, molina will cover. Wheres a doctor for me im near pontiac? How abt taghavi?

Dr. Townsend? I have no insurance and never have been to a doctor really all my adult life. I' am 27 years old, and have been suffering from addiction since I was 15 yrs old. I've abused every drug in the book. I'm told I can get put on my own script of Methadone by being honest with the Dr. I' am contacting and being real with him. I've learned through taking Methadone in the past '' Not to feel high on '' just enough to make me '' Normal '' . As of most of the time no-one wants to be around me, not even my own kid's. I suffer from being a good to bad father and spouse on a day to day basis. My wife agrees as well. As I have been suffering for to long and enough is enough. I honestly would rather suffer with Cancer than Addiction, that of it is a long hard bumpy road in life.........Just really want help! Tired of living day to day stressing about getting a fix. I mean I 'am damaging my liver taking the norcos and vicodin I take, and those still only take care of me only a couple hours out of the day, on a bad day I average about 20 to 25 7.5 norcos a day, I want to be able to walk my baby girl down he isle one day aswell as being a positive influence for my 2 boys and baby girl. Please help........Cost of office visit would be appreciated just need to know how much to save up for, this wouldbe much appreciated.......

We do not use methadone in addiction. We use suboxone. You are welcome to call the office at 989-339-4464 to set up an appointment to discuss your situation.

Dear Dr. Townsted,

I am live in Traverse City and suffer with severe chronic pain. I go downstate where I went through a long series of appts before my new docter wouldcprescribe methadone 30 mgs a day, 20 norcs for breakthrough pain pain PRN, lyrica for fybromyglia and xanax for anxiety . I was seeing a doctor a couple years ago for quite sometime who then had oersinal problems and got shutdown. During rhat time I was at.U of M for pnemonia and when I got out a had no pain doc and all the pain docs who treat oain were not taking new patients and most of the docs up here do not believe or eont write pain meds. I go to counseling, co occuring group gs and meetins. I want to find a doctor that can treat my pain and ancity. zi tryed Suboxone for pain in the past but it did not work well. Can you work with me

Yes, that seems pretty reasonable, but you will need a primary doc for the Xanax. Give the office a call

Dr Vargas will not give you whatever you want regardless if your male or female he is a good doctor and he genuinely cares about his patients. He has been my doctor for over twenty years and I have seen him telling people to leave and you can't come in here and think I'm going to give you that the first time you come leave and don't come back to my office. He's even has told me no and that testing was needed before he would even consider it.

Hey do I be honest with barber about my addiction and my pain what should I say to him or wit h way do I go about getting my methadone been on it five years from clinic and need this badly I'm unable to function without it I need it to live my life free of pain and addiction

Rochester Hills Mi I would just like it prescribed the way it was at my former PCP who doesn't take my insurance anymore but I was prescribed the 10 milligram methadone 4 times a day for long acting for pain and Demerol tablets 100 milligrams 4 times a day for pain.
