Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 97)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

It's been totally silent. Is everyone doing OK?
Finally got my meds on Monday, so started feeling better today. It makes me mad that it seems like I can never stay on a level plane. Something is always going on with my medication that screws me up, then it takes days, if not a week to get back feeling somewhat decent again.

Im doin good and sometimes that happens 2 me but I think monday id I can add a dose or sumthin else I wk 2 jobs each.day from 9:30-4:30 then 2nd job is from 5pm 10pm and its jusy me and my 5 kids and a grandbaby and im tired and I hurt plus startin a divorce process after we were 2gether 16yrs

CoSusie I simply overdid it and took myself out for a day, lol. Every day I swear I'm gonna sit on my butt on my heating pad and it never happens, life seems to take over, lol.
I'm glad you got your meds and you are starting to feel better.

So sorry. Long time ago, I was married for 14 years and we got divorced. It's a hard thing when you've been with someone that long. They become a huge part of you, not just a part of your life.
Your children and grandchildren still at home? Ours are all grown. But next week two of the grandkids are coming to stay the weekend. I just love that. So I got to plan ahead next week, to be sure I don't do anything to cause a set back with them due. We plan their visits for when my husband is home, for just in case I'm not able to handle it.

So did you over do it on a good day? That's what I always do. We need to come up with a name for over doing good days. Something that reflects that we don't want that good day to ever end and that we are aware we are going to pay tomorrow LOL.

All stil at home and help alot n thank you its hard but its a good break up nt hard and horrible my son and daughter wil both ve graduate from concord 1 is a Pa or MA assistant the other criminal justice n help me daily just like the younger 1s do and my grandson he my side kick u see me u see him

Aren't grandchildren the most wonderful thing there is? No matter how badly I feel, I always love to see them. Sometimes I can't do as much as I would like, but they always make me feel better than I did before they got here. I don't remember that my kids were as much fun LOL.
Someone told me that grandchildren are the "circle of life"

He is I love it when he is here which is bout 3-4 times per week lol he says the most precious things like....ma I know your back hurts you want me 2 rub it or ma you wanna sit in your favorite chair cuz I can move and get your back pilliow

Went to doc with hubby and was told they are having to reduce meds and refuse people because their not pain management. Their being investigated .hundred people now have showed up to your doctor hun , he's not going to treat pain patients soon .Because of all the bs of cpr when they ask me for my med list I thought she would faint Mrs S .Her husband reminder her I had brain tumor I felt like a junkie the way she acted towards me .You dont look sick duh what does sick look like I felt so ashamed.

What really wendy thats how the smiths treated u???. 2day that is nt they style But are they the PCP 4 ur husband??? And I bet sick of junkies did this even tho I never went 2 cpr I bet he dis call tha smiths bout all his CPR patients.Did u ask if they wld help u if u took them as ur Pcp

Wendy, You have no reason to feel ashamed. Please try to make feelings like that go away and never come back. I don't live in the area that you guys do, but we have our problems with help for the chronic patients here too. It's not fair, but please don't let them ever make you feel bad for something that you didn't ask for. None of us signed up for our health problems. The only thing that I know of that might help is the petition that is trying to address the chronic patient. I'm giving you that info again, please check it out. I think the petition info kind of got lost in the mess of that Sick Junkies person.

I just cant believe that wendy im so sorry that happen and idk who said it but a good day 4 me is nt usin my cane but stil walkin limped I walk tip toes on my left feet for over 2yrs so since they got slammed with alot of ppl they snt want 2 help the legit 1's now wendy I wish I cld do more 4 u but im sorry
