Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 150)

I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!

Your doctor also has a clinic in Duncan, OK? That is where I am from. Can you post a little more info so I can locate him. I have disk degen disease, bad disks, ruptured, slipped, spinal stenosis, have had over 20 surgeries and need the pain meds but trouble getting a doc in Colorado. I am pretty much bedridden now and have no quality of life. I cannot work or do anything except eat Tylenol like they are candy and they really do not help.

Place has changed. No more easy stuff. They check your piss and swab your mouth to check your saliva and won't give more that 4 a day and only if you are dying. Go to Vegas. The flight is cheap on Southwest and they will get you in and out so you can come back same day. Give at least 360 to everyone and up to 720 if you have paperwork. Very nice and easy. Vegas is the top place for amount you can get.

I was hit by a semi and have been taking long acting and short acting for 5 years now, but my Dr dies. I live in Co and need choices on Dr I can go see. I have a 18% impairment to my back and neck. My back bothers me and need to find a good Dr.

hey DJ sounds like we had the same doc (the 1 who died) sad huh? and so uexpected. Well, it took me about 3 mos to find another but I did!! I'd love to share. How do I get his name to you? anoumously? let me know

528Lady, Thanks for the info! A lot to digest! We've got a long road ahead! He's been an "unusual" case to begin with! He A1C never has been really high and after being diagnosed he went almost 2 years without insulin, so he's an unusual case to begin with! Thank u so much!
Rainbow, CPR is still in the process of getting approved for Medicaid but I think it's only going to b for suboxone folks but I'm not sure! Also wanted just to c how u were doing!

Colorado pain relief in wheatridge. It's kind of like a pill mill cuz all they do are rxs. You pay cash as they don't take any ins. 1rst visit $225, then you pay $180/mo for your rxs. It does seem strange there but you can get your meds. 303-456-4882

I haven't heard from Wendy for a long time. Asked how she's doing, but nothing. Would love to know that she's ok.
Tomorrow I see the skin guy again. The medicine I've been using has done nothing and hasn't even stopped it from spreading. Only clear spots are the soles of my feet and the palms of my hands.
Very depressing and I'm very sick of this.

Saw the skin guy today. I have Psoriasis and Xerosis Cutis. Any input would be appreciated. Creams are not effective and he has recommended shots of Humira.

Angie, I'm not sure u know but CPR is actually legit! No concerning issues! They r expanding their services to include Suboxone rx! Their medic director, an md is wonderful and understands pain issues and their new pa is also wonderful with a very good reputation, he actually does work with the local Hispanic television! It isn't the old CPR where the doc was back and forth from another state and the pa actually ran it! I've not been to any pain doc's where I actually was examined and they talked about my treatment plan! I've gone there for over two years and although I've heard of issues, I've never had any other than the prescription people! I'm not a huge fan of them but otherwise I think they r great! I've had real bad medical issues and they have been helpful with that also! I do know other groups that r good also but I stay because I like the people! I believe they r getting medicaid approved also, I'm not sure if it's just for the suboxone or not but its in the works I know! I hope this helps!
