Doctors In Pa That Prescribe Oxycodone (Page 4)

I need a doctor in the pgh area. I have had 11 back surgeries, chronic pain and anxiety. My pcp gave me a month to find one... Please help.

I am also looking for someone to prescribe oxycodone for fibromyalgia. I live near Pittsburgh. Since we can't include our email address in this group, could you give the name and location of the pain doctor you are going to who prescribes narcotics for you? Thank you

hey karen i live in quakertown pa but will travel. could you send me their names. i really appreciate it. i saw a pain management dr who prescribe 120 20 mg oxycodone and then uped them to 30mg along with treatments. he retired and everyone else just seems to want to do injections. whats up with that! i appreciate any help you can give me.

hi everyone. there seem to be a whole lot of us that cannot find drs., pas or even pain managment drs willing to prescribe the narcotics that do work, particularly oxycodne without tylenol or apap (same thing?). i agree, since we can't give our email addresses, how can we share any info with each other on drs we may find in our areas that do prescribe as well as treat pain and illness? please advise. thanks!

I am new to this group. I just hate the dilemma we are all in. It makes me mad that we have to suffer because we can't get medication that helps us live a somewhat normal life. I am trying to find a new PCP, and was in the process of making an appointment, and the receptionist told me if I was coming for anything related to pain, he would refer me to a pain clinic. I never mention that I have chronic pain or that I have fibromyalgia. It sounds like there must be a lot of patients trying to get pain pills. There has to be a way for us to get the pain pills. Has anyone been successful? How and where were you able to get the pills? If all of us share where to get the pills, other than from a physician, it would help us all!

I would like to know where the doctor is located. I love in Monroe County and for whatever reason no doctors around here will prescribe my oxy30mg to me. My doctor passed away and since then I've been going through torture. Please help!

I am in urgent need of a pain doctor who does not have a problem writing roxicodone for my back. I love in Youngstown Ohio and recently my doctor got raided and now I am screwed royally. I was getting 240 Roxie's a month. Does anyone know a doc around or in Pennsylvania or Ohio that is not afraid to write scripts and that doesn't need a refferal??? If so plz let me know.

Please help! I moved back to PA after living in Rochester, NY area for 9 years. The doctors up there are wonderful! I have been taking 10 mg. oxycodone and Lyrica for 6 years. I have chronic pain for Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, severe Peripheral Neuropathy, Scoliosis, DDD, Chronic Migraines and osteoarthritis. When I moved here , I could not find a doctor who will prescribe me my pain meds and they just stopped cold turkey! I am scared to death of withdrawal as I have several heart conditions also. I was prescribed 10mg 4 times a day of oxy and I only have 2 pills left. I had taken 1 yesterday and I am already feeling horrible..like I am going to die. My heart is racing, I have a migraine and I am extremely nervous and shaky. I desperately need a doctor that will help me either n Pittsburgh or all the way to Erie. Could someone please help me.

Solo! I can't believe it! Someone else in Youngstown going through hell since Allied closed. I am right aren't I? I also live Youngstown, Austintown to be exact. I was going to Akron & seeing Dr Fragatos until THEY closed March 14th. My PCP referred me to another clinic. I saw the PA two weeks ago. THAT chick was the rudest, most sarcastic…….It was humiliating. She implied I should take antidepressants for the mental problem I have which is making me think I'm in pain. HULLOOO. Read my records lady. I already see a psychiatrist especially for the depression related to the chronic pain which rules my freaking life. I moved here fourteen years ago. Drove to Cleveland Clinic Pain Center the first five years. After getting burned out making the hour and a half complicated drive I asked them to refer me somewhere closer to home. They referred me to a Dr at Allied. I went for the appointment and am told that Dr just moved back to India or something and thats when I met Ranieri. SUCH a long story!!! I've gotta go but theres a new clinic opening in Boardman in two weeks. I have an inside scoop which I'll share with you. Tomorrow. Night night.

Hello I am in quakertown pa in desperate need of my oxycodone 10mg no Tylenol because of liver problems. I was going to my pcp but now she wants me to find a pain management !! And I can't seem to find 1 pain management that will give me the same medication she was prescribing me if someone can please get back to me on this issue ! I really really am hurting I have neuropathy drop foot and nerve damage severely from the knee down and won't be able to function or take care of my child half the way I was able to on my meds if I can't find a prescribing doctor! Please help send me an email!

I have been on methadone for 14 yes.got off cuz I went to prison.tired of every day going there.and I'm on 75 milligrams of elavil not helping makes me sleep all day. looking to try percocet 30 so i dont have to deal with all the bs that comes with methadone all the counseling and meeting any doctors in connecticut

Hi Caitlin, have you found yourself a new Dr? I'm in Northeast Ohio, practically the border of PA and Ohio. 17 miles from here to New Castle, PA. Let me know how you're doing. If I can do anything to help I certainly will and if you're taken care of I'd still love to know so I won't worry bout ya...

I live near erie pa and i have osteoporosis and i was in a bad accident a few years ago i was being prescribed 150 30mg oxycodones, 150 15mg oxycodones and 90 200mg morphine tablets. and the dr just up shut me off as to to he did a lot of people because i think he had to many people on pain meds and i have mri's and x-rays but i can't find a dr i even tried going through a pain management dr and no luck..i really need to find a dr fast

Well we can't post our email addresses on this site! I finally gave up trying to find a PCP in PA and drove over 4 hours back to my previous doc. In Rochester, NY. Thank God he is so understanding about chronic pain! He had no problem prescribing my pain meds. I am so sorry for what everyone here is going through. I still have to find one in PA, but at least I am not going through withdrawal.
