Do I Run Any Risk In Taking Seloken Xl 25 Daily With Atorva 10 Mg & Deplatt A 75

I had under gone Angioplasty in 2010 January. One Medicate Stent & One Balloon was inserted. Then on I am under regular medication of (1) Deplatt A 75, Seloken XL 25, Atorva 10 every day. I am 64 now.

I find no discomfort and maintaining my daily work from morning till late evening.

Do I run any risk in taking the medicines daily.

Well, there are always risks associated with using any medication, however, when you have a heart condition, the risks to you are far greater if you don't use the appropriate medications and let your condition get out of control.

Seloken XL contains a time released formulation of Metoprolol, it is a beta blocker that is used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions.

It's side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and headache.

Deplatt-A contains the active ingredients Clopidogrel and Aspirin, it is used to thin the blood and prevent clotting.

Its side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.

Atorva contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol.

Thank you so much. I do not suffer any such side effects during the last one and half years of using the three medicines. To day I had TMT & the report shows betterment.

I am nehru 38 from chennai, Doing business. today my family doc advice me to take seloken xl 25mg tab due to my BP condition was 170/110. i fell very confused to take the dose because of the side effects i read in the google search. pls help me sir

I am Amit of 66yrs age today. In June 2012 I underwent angioplasty and was inserted one stunt. Since than and till date I am feeling normal as per all concerned pathological reports like Ecg, BP, Cholesterol, lipid profile, sugar, etc drawn after every 3 to 4 months are always normal till date. Since 2012 I am taking daily machines as prescribed given below:- 1 Astorvas-10, 2. Depleted A75, 3. Seloken XL25, 4. Car davenport 2.5
(S.no. 1 to 3 i take after dinner and medicine at St. No.4 I take before breakfast in the morning. In view of above I want to ask you if:- (a) I may discontinue totally any one or all of the aforesaid medicines or take it either on alternate days or twice a week without any complications.
(b) in 2012 the Operating Dr on my request had allowed me to take two-pegs of whisky (alcohol) once or twice a month and till date I drink whisky twice a month without any side effects or complications. My question is if I could continue it in future also.
Please advice me as my reliable Dr who operated and prescribed medicine has long back left for USA and I don't have his contact numbers. And his colleague in the hospital could not be relied as once when contacted frightened me with his adverse advices and forecast for reoccurring of heart problems in the year 2014 but I did not visited him again and with the blessings of Almighty today I am totally fit and in very good health conditions.
